The tank has been sitting around for about a month. It's time to do the guppy breeding that I spoke about previously. The paludarium from Exoterra is sat at a great height which means really good viewing of the fish. I'll be choosing lots of good colours with a good mix of males and then lots of females. I just have to know this one thing if I can. Is this all at your home? Is this a space you are able to rent? Is a building that you built? I am fairly new to the channel. If it something that built, like wow!!! I really have now words, other than it must feel so awesome almost intoxicating. I would never be in my main house. Lol. I would deff be in my fish house.

Btw you clean squeeze the muck out of a sponge from your canister filters, add some media into the tank (remove later) and add tank water to speed the cycle!

I never realised how small guppies are my friend has some and they're tiny. I swear I remember them being bigger haha

How about a cold mist generator dropping mist from above the plants ? It would help the plants a lot.

May I know what kind of sand u use ?

Looks great one thing to be sure of is that you give the frogs some place to get out of the water very easily. Frogs especially dart frogs and tree frogs are suprisingly bad swimmers. I just would not want your first frog or gecko to drown. I have had some bad experiences with much much smaller water areas.

In a paludarium this large you will need multiple places to get out of the water.

What kind of camera do you use brother?

I have a tank like that, I was thinking of do terrarium with live plants and small pond with poison dart frog and some kind small fish or something. Thank you for inspiration again.

Hello 😁 i am thinking about doing a paludarium again but i am wondering if you have any suggestions on what material i should use to divide land from water but i want to avoid glass. I see alot of people using egg crate light defuser but obviously theres alot of holes ill have to fill. Please when you get chance suggest some alternatives or any ideas you can think of to fill the holes on the egg crate thats great to stop leakes. I know silicone is a way to go but if i can help it i dont want to have to silicone every hole if possible but if its got to be done then tough tit i guess. Hope to hear from you soon

Hi MD, invest in some Dr Tims ammonia from Amazon..will make much easier to cycle...or put sponges in a couple of the other tanks to cycle... :-)

A few videos back, MD showed him and said that he was re-homing him with an axolotl breeder. He's been to a vet in case there was a blockage of some sort but there wasn't. He still thinks something is wrong though and decided that giving him to someone more experienced with axolotls is the best idea.

Hi there mate enjoying the channel ,ive always scaped my reptile terrariums i want to do a paludarium as i m from a fish keeping back ground just wondered what exo terra tank that is with the deeper bottom as my 90x90x45 s only have shallow bottoms

Any tips on taking care java fern? I already killed one (set) of java fern. It just disintegrated by itself. Any idea why? I replaced it with java fern windelove but now some of the leave looks damaged. I dose micro (flourish) & about 3 weeks ago started dosing macro as well.
