Hi Paws! Great video as per usual, the new area is shaping up good so far. You really made it look as though the tortoise have a lot more room ✨️ You mentioned you're not sure what this new guest area is going to be like. Have you ever considered making a second entry? It might help spread out those huge crowds so it's less stressful on the animals and staff, while providing better walkability. I do know they recently added Souvenir Shops to the game -- maybe you could tweak it to look like they sell those animal adoption packages certain conservation zoos have? Thank you so much for continuing this lovely series!

Yes! I was thinking this too!! If not a secondary entrance then maybe a monorail, that way guests can access all parts of the zoo easier

Theres a solar panel near the European entrance with no path. It was selected at 12:32.

@@PawsBuild I also noticed the tortoise exhibit with the single male had the management set to 0 females. Not sure if it changed when you added the female.

OH I've waited for a tortoise habitat for SO long, tortoises (particularly Hermann's tortoises) are my favourite animals! I'm so happy to see this 😭 can't wait to watch the episode! A little info: it is actually recommended to have one or two males with many females (the numbers I hear the most are at least 3-5 females for 1 male), otherwise the poor girls will be very stressed by all the mating attempts - the boys are very aggressive when they want to be! And especially in an enclose like this one, with too many males there will be a lot of fighting because they want to defend their territory. I would therefore recommend to adjust the population control a bit :)

You could build an outdoor penn around the exhibit building. With fake tunnels and hides etc. That way the exhibit animals could roam inside out outside. They just happen to be inside at the moment

Hey there, I’m pretty new to the channel but am enjoying this series! It’s made me load up the game again for the first time in awhile. Your custom building skills are super impressive. Wondering if you’d consider doing an advanced custom building tutorial? I’m getting better but would love to hear some of your tips, shortcuts or design considerations. Thanks for getting me excited about the game again!

Hey Paws a good way to control the habitats with their hunger/cleanliness is if you make each one its own workzone and assign a keeper to each one Ive found doing that ive never had to worry about hunger or cleanliness and the staff feel less worked because they are only looking after 1 habitat and then id have one extra keeper per section who who essentially almost act as a supervisor and help make sure each habitat is being looked after

YES ANOTHER PAWS UPLOAD IM LATE! I loved all of the effort put in for an animal that tends to get sidelined in favor of the more 'appealing' mammals, and tortoises are just so goofy looking! My sister and I actually have a pet female box tortoise named "TORTERROR" (Yes, in all caps, because it must always be yelled in our house) so maybe you could name one of the Hermann's tortoises after ours?

Honestly I just love your videos. Makes me desperate to play this game. I own a Herman's Tortoise. When I first got her I named her Albus, but it turns out she's a female so she's now called Ariana. Please could you name a tortoise in your all after her! I have loads of names that i'd love you to use, these are/were some pet names: Toffee, Sam, Buster, Beth, Daisy, Bear, Badger, Wren, Indy, Smoky, Bandit, Clover, Bramble, Hazel, Flax, Birch, Speedwell, Lotus, Lily, Rosie, Thistle, Heather, Fern, Errol, Harry, Hebe, Holly, Spruce, Pumpkin, Sage, Bonsai. These videos are awesome, thank you for making them.

You should name your does after assorted breakfast pastries! Pancake, Waffle, Toast, Doughnut, Crepe, Biegnet, Muffin, Danish, etc. When I was a kid a doe near my house gave birth to twins, and we named the mom Pancake and her babies Syrup and Butter. Good memories.

"Keshvi" (means long, beautiful hair) for a female because we all know the struggle of our conservationists and the team behind them in keeping these majestic animals from being poached for their horns (made out of modified hairs) and "Midnight" for a male because it's a "Black" rhino and it sounds cool! Paws at about 6:00 you were really struggling with clipping build pieces. In PlaCo, at least, this issue can be fixed by rotating the wall piece 180 degrees. For some reason one side of them is slightly thicker than the other, so that's why only some of the sections were clipping. I would guess its the same in Planet Zoo.

I really want to see a series where Pawsbuild does Jurassic Park but ethical with the most dangerous dinosaurs and see how he balances it

It would be great if all of the habitats had swimable ponds. Even though it's not a requirement, you can see some swimming. (Like the wild boar at the beginning of the video.) Ps: I already said that on the previous video, but I think my comment was too late.

Hey Paws, just check, your front left exhibit was set on 0 females with the management, so I'm mot sure if it automatically sold the one female you put in? Also, isn't it better to have more females than males? Then they can breed more? It's also usually better, to give the females a bit of a break as male tortoises want to breed quite often, so then they can get a break

Some things i do is Release/sell the male offspring of group/herd animals and keep the female offspring (on birth control until dad dies) when my breeding male dies i buy a new male For pack/1-male-1female animals i keep the best offspring and release/sell the rest then when the parents pass i find them a mate Flip the mulch upside down, the underside is flat and so blends into other mulch easier Using the zoo control pannel put all animals born on birth control as soon as theyre born, easiest way to avoid in breeding, other option is to build a males and females habitats and move offspring into respective habitats as soon as theyre born Very excited for the new dlc, any plans for a petting zoo?
