Surely using any Ivory whether it’s fossilised or not endorses the use of ivory. This might very well give people the encouragement to poach wild animals. PS Love this channel

Cheers, figured it was something like that, or just old legal ivory. Don't listen to the nonsensical moral outrage that using even imitation or fossilized ivory is bad and encourages poaching; for some reason, that sentiment is to be found in the comments.

I like how they use a variety of music unlike many channels. using a variety of music doesn't push some potential subscribers away. I watch allot of tech videos but sadly the vast majority only have bass thumping BS that I dislike with a passion so refuse to watch their content, if they had a variety I could tolerate "Thump... THUMPthump Thump" in my ears every once in a while. The classical was classy though and I enjoyed it.

Same case here, as I just made my own set up if you'd like a tip, for a cheaper single burner forge, similar size to what Alec made in another video but less metal. I made a simple base holding the floor with 4 tabs and using all-thread rods make 2 cross bars for the top and finger tighten the bars to the base holding all the bricks together. Not quite as protective of the ceramic bricks as Alec's but has worked for me well for about a month now only costing maybe $100 at the hardware store

Will, I just wanted to throw a shout out to you doing all of the hand sanding you do. I'm currently hand sanding a fire axe head as a retirement present for a coworker of mine in the fire department. It was a big chunk of rust. Started at 36 grit and have worked my way up to 800 grit currently. My fingers hurt in places I didn't think could hurt. I have a tremendous newfound respect for the work you do on those blades by hand. That tip of running at 45° in both directions on the same grit has been a huge help. I'd still be on 80 grit if I were trying to sand in one direction.

"African elephants are likely to become endangered and face a high risk of extinction in the future. The World Wildlife Fund estimates there are approximately 415,000 African elephants in the wild today, compared to three to five million during the 19th century. During the 1980s African elephant populations decreased by almost 50 percent. Since monitoring began approximately 30 years ago, 2011 has been the worst year on record, with the largest amount of illegal ivory confiscated worldwide. It has been estimated that 35,000 elephants are illegally killed each year for their ivory. The Wildlife Conservation Society’s 96 Elephants campaign emphasizes the unfortunate fact that 96 elephants are killed in Africa each day-that is one elephant every 15 minutes. (Asian elephants are still threatened by poaching but not all Asian elephants have tusks.)" Not cool at all
