DANGEROUS❗️the method used to make the lighting like pattern in the wood is deadly and has killed people. Fractal wood burning is not a fun DIY project or pass time. It is potentially fatal if you do not fully understand the risk. Never do this for those curious about replicating the design of this table. It’s a beautiful table, but not worth risking your life for folks.

​@@Coud167 it looks good but it can kill u as it uses a transformer, which will not turn off the electrical box in your house if you accidentally get shocked, which can kill you or leave u paralyzed with burns through out your whole and even can burn your house down

My dad is an engineer and so is really practical. When I get back from uni, we're going to try something like this but with carving because we don't have the safety equipment for this. I'm going to be trying the resin for the first time.

Please be careful! Resin is very toxic, wear the right protective gear, like a gas mask.

I always love how the lichtenburg designs come out! sucks some people have died/gotten serious injuries from doing it unsafely

No matter how safe you are the process itself in its nature is completely risky and any mistake can be fatal or cause severe injuries, some of the people who died weren't amateurs they were seasoned electricians who thought they knew what they're doing

If you want to do it they sell kits with multiple safety features. I still recommend doing it with at least one other person watching to be on the safe side. After you buy or build the fractal burner your only expenses here really is the wood and resin. The solution you need to control where the fractals go is just baking soda and water so fairly inexpensive if you want to do this yourself.

Too many cases have been reported where both people ended up dead. Most often a husband and wife or a pair of friends. Bad idea. Just don’t do it.

And to the people who will do it anyway with this “added safety”, at that point it’s just natural selection.

This board was chosen- went through a process and the end result is art. Whether it be a table or you buddy. The world has a way of making things beautiful. Just be ready for your turn! This hunk of wood becomes a treasure ❤
