I make all my own sheaths from PVC pipe for my fishing knives etc. Makes great cheap sheaths (about 3 bucks for a metre of 40mm PVC pipe) that look way better than kydex with the ugly rivets and thick boundaries, it is easily paintable, waterproof obviously, and very durable.

That looks really clean. Way better than the kydex

Why do a reverse bend and a "ranger band"? Why not bend the pvc inwards and you'd have a quick snap on the belt with a bend that gives retention.

Red Beard If it's not going to clip on the belt, then why not use PVC cement and secure the bottom part?
