Making a Curved Music Stand

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

A modern twist on an old classic for a local Music Teacher.
I chose Utile to simulate Mahogany as she has a lot of old reclaimed furniture and the Maple to give a high contrast modern feel to the piece.
No talking, just making.

Enjoyed the video but missed your commentary. Beautiful music stand! Look of concentration on your face as you finished off routing the round over was amusing

Hi Wild Wood, you gotta concentrate on the job at hand, as Grandma used to say, "If a jobs worth doing, its worth doing well".

Beautiful sir! On that first bridle joint I was thinking you could borrow my router plane, then a router plane appeared later 😆 I was also surprised to see the INCRA lift go away so soon, did you have trouble with it? Not that anyone needs a reason to pick up some new Woodpeckers gear 👍

Hi Timothy, thank you. The Router plane is fantastic isn't it! I use it rarely but when I do it just makes me smile. As for the router lift, I had to return the AUK Tools router due to a fault, its back I just haven't had time to pop it in again. Well spotted sit. 👍😁
