Omg, please send me a picture when you finish! I got the polyfil and wire at Walmart (both are in the craft/sewing section)! The super sculpey is from Amazon, but I'm sure any clay will work!

I want a little me so bad! But I have no experience with clay or making clothes 😭 I’m gonna try it even though it might be a fail! Loved how yours turned out!!💗

Thank you so much! You can totally do it! My sewing skills aren't very impressive at all, but since it's a small doll, I sewed everything by hand. It's not very pretty close-up, but it does the job. There's also this thing called liquid stitch that I used to hem some of the edges that might help you. Please send me pictures when you finish yours!! 💕

I have just started making my own doll, she had orange hair, cute freckles and that's it for now, I am making her into an elf, her eyes are black, but it is taking me a while to make the body, but again I need to go to sleep bc it's late and I have school tomorrow, might be working on it while I'm doing work, you inspired me to making it, and it's coming out really good, my sisters are scared if it but it's fine, I might make a boy elf for her too

@@ToriMorgan she's turning out well, her head did start cracking when I woke up, but I think it's bc I didn't wait long enough for her to dry, but I'm doing her again, and this time she has blue eyes instead of black, I am almost done with her hair, and I will have to go shopping for some cloth, so I can sue her body together, and then I have to make the clothes, but she is turning out really well, so again thank you for the insperation ❤️

Hi! I used cotton for the body, but I'm sure that you can use anything. I didn't use any measurements, I just tried to make it similar in proportion Rachel's doll and the Coraline doll from the movie. I hope that helps! Thanks for watching!

Two evenings! I made the base, shaped the clay, baked the doll and did all of the sewing on one night. The next night, I painted it and glued on the buttons and hair. Hope that helps!

I genuinely can’t remember, but it was what the super sculpey box recommended!

How long did you bake it for, what is the clay you used called?whats the fabric that you used for the body called? I wanna make one so I need to know lol!

Hi! The clay is called Super Sculpey, I baked it for 45 minutes (I followed the instructions on the Sculpey box), and I used cotton for the body. It is stuffed with polyfil. Hope that helps!

Hey I’m making mine right now but my head is too heavy ? When I pick it up it wobbles from side to side any tips on how yours looked so light weight and able to stand straight when u hold it up

Hey! I think the solution for that would be either twisting a couple lengths of the wire together along the neck/spine to make that stronger or using a thicker wire. Mine is definitely top heavy and will wobble if I'm holding it from the very bottom, but I believe I twisted two wires together for the spine so it isn't too bad. I display mine with her sitting down so it's not a huge problem for me. I hope that helps!! I'd love to see pictures of yours when it's finished! (:

Hi! I think that this depends on the clay that you use. For super sculpey, like I used, it was 275 degrees!

How do you make the clothes?

Hi! I put the doll on top of the fabric and traced the shape of the clothing around it, cut two identical pieces of that shape out and sewed them together. I have a little sewing knowledge, so I did gather the skirt. I hope that helps!
