Making a Big Stone Lithograph w/ Screen Print Color

This was a massive project which ended up taking about a month and a half to finish! I hope you enjoy watching the process that goes into a project like this with my commentary.

I learned new things today! But that etching solution on your bare hands? Is that standard practice???

I've seen printmakers do it with and without gloves. It does make your hand gross and slimy and I usually have to wash and dry my hands before I buff with the cheesecloth. I prefer bare handed etching because I like push the etch into the stone until I feel the texture of the stone, that's how I determine if I am using enough pressure.

@@someprintdude I see. But, it **etches into stone** for Pete's sake! What could it do to your skin, if not short term, then long term?
