    Easy way to make an adjustable length string, make the longest length you need, cut it in half and re-tie it with a sheet bend. Very easy to adjust the sheet bend to make it shorter to exact lengths.

    I have to admit my ignorance. Don’t know what a sheet bend is. Gotta google it 😁

    Just used all your measurements and did both sides and it turned out great. Used one piece of string and tied all loops on same string. Just wanted to thank you for the help.

    Yeah that is awesome that you found out about this and shared it with your videos. I bought a template 30 years ago and what a chore it is to find when I needed a new board. The board lasts me 10 12 years. I use cabinet grade also.

    Awesome idea, one very minor issue the pattern you used is NAFTA specs which they are no longer operate. The Fur Harvesters specs and pattern is more oval. Strings and 1 nail require adjustment as follows Nail #1 - 24 1/4. Strings #1- 24 1/4, #2- 27 1/8, #3- 29 5/8, #4- 32 1/4, #5- 35 3/8, #6- 38- 1/2, #7- 41 1/2, #8- 44 1/2, #9- 47 1/2. Thanks again this way was so much faster than tracing. I measured the string with one loop and added 1/2 inch to the length tied the second loop and it worked great.

    For making the pattern, I used 6 or 8 penny finish. The have a small head and the strings go on and off easily.

    So one of the numbers is for longitude an one is for latitude

  • @LiveMoreOutdoors

    @LiveMoreOutdoors

    Жыл бұрын

    The first column is for the string lengths, and the second is the distance each focus point should be from the center. If longitude and latitude makes sense to you, then yes, but I relate longitude/latitude to east/west and north/south on the Earth.
