Making A Bean Can Stove Pt 2
Pt 2 of making a crude tin can stove with minimal tools and putting it to the test to boil up some water for a mug of tea.
Not a new idea at all and there are many similar ones on KZread. I've done this only as a test using a couple of old tools, a hammer and a screw driver. That is the point, it's crudity. Pt 1 explains this.
Many, many uploads on KZread are as I mention in the clip, clinical and exact. All the tools needed are to hand and excellent, almost works of art are created. This clip isn't about that at all. It's about a raw form of a common idea. It may look clumsy, awkward and annoy the risk averse, but that's the way it is.

I was going to say that - I liked how the water heated up a distance from the flames. A good test - great result. Mark

You need to castle cut top of can to let it draw properly

Thanks for your comment. Appreciated. :) I'm familiar with castellated rims. Of course I could have done that however my point was deliberately using just two tools of whatever came to hand with eyes shut delving into a tool box. Had I done that at home, I could have used a drill, tin snippers etc. That was too easy. My whole aim was one of crudeness enough to get it to work.
