Over the next few months, I'll be introducing a lot more project content to the channel, in addition to my normal reviews! The 240SX will be picking up soon (engine swap), along with a few other things I have in the works! For this series, I'm excited to announce a new partnership between Saabkyle04 and O'Reilly Auto Parts (www.oreillyauto.com/) Together, we'll be bringing the Jimmy back to its former glory! I'll be focusing on a lot of DIY content to fix what's broken, while upgrading key components. My goal is to get this thing to a point that it could be a reliable daily driver. There's a ton of things that need to be done, so expect a lot of cool content with this one. Thanks so much for watching and I hope you all enjoy! I'm really excited about these projects. They're a great way for me to interact with you all more and us all to have fun together!

Aside from being named after my first car that I got in 2004, this channel is all about giving you the opportunity to see cars in-depth and teach you what makes each and every car unique in their own special way. As a long-time automotive enthusiast, I tailor my videos to those who love cars. Over the years, this channel has become well known for my signature in-depth reviews that are designed to be an immersive experience. Also, with project cars, press events and the occasional road trip, I’m always working hard to deliver new and exciting content that’s not only entertaining, but informative. On this channel, you’ll find vehicles from every decade, every price point and every genre, from classics to mainstream and the most elite supercars. There’s literally something for everyone. My goal always has and always will be to have a channel that delivers consistent and quality content time and time again. Of course, the most rewarding thing about all of this is getting to interact with you all, so be sure to check out my social media channels! @J Ignatius You are correct sir! Here in Iowa the DOT started using the liquid salt brine in the late 90's and now not only sheet metal but parts like shock and spring mounts and even suspension parts are rusting through.... it's insane, and to find a car or truck over 20 years old that isn't rusted to shit is becoming damn near impossible.

Fact: usually water from your hose if you wash at home CAN still leave some waterspots because of the hard water, it does get rid of 60% of the water from the car which is easier to dry after so just make sure to dry quickly just in case to avoid those waterspots, especially in warm weather

@@jorgenvonstrangle000 I agree. Just dry it off. I had a guy tht swore by the water curtain method. By the time you turn the water off, remove the nozzle, trun the water back on, then turn it off again, you could have towel dried it leaving 0 water spots.

I’ve worked in detail a few years and it seems a lot of people forget about restoring and treating windows on older vehicles. Typically for restoring windows i do the following: Claybar, buffing with compound and steel wool, then decontaminating with a lacquer thinner or rubbing alcohol, then glass cleaner and then either wax or RainX. It really makes driving in the rain less sketchy.

Two ways to do it, turn the aircon on when fogging occurs or cut a potato in half then wipe the sliced bit all over the windows, when the starch has dried buff it off till the windows are clear again (do not do it on window tint) - no more fogged windows, If you are not sure it will work try the idea on your bathroom mirror first.

In the future when claying, you're much better off pulling off a smaller piece of the clay bar and kneading it as it gets contaminated. Allows your clay bar to go much further. Nice job though. I love this Jimmy series . Not because I like Jimmys. Im sure a lot of people here could care less but the amount of dedication you put in to it is great to see. It shows that you really like these little trucks . And I think thats what sucks about the car community sometimes . We don't appreciate cars for what they are or what they did for the industry. We only take into consideration what we like but honestly we're all in for the love of the cars.

We will price match anything as long as its "apple's to apple's" meaning same warranty, shipping and weather or not its in stock or have to order. Its too bad that paint is roached. I would say wet sand it but I'm thinking that you will not be able to sand past the crazing without getting into the base coat. This thing is worthy or a repaint though without a doubt. Around where I live these are rotted to death and long since off the road.

When I detail it can take about 25-30 hours for a good job (thats exterior only) another 20-50 hours for the interior depending on condition. I have just finished a car that took 1500 hours of work before I was happy with it, but that was everything from body repair, mechanical, brakes, wiring and glass. Even did my own wheel alignment. Only outsourced work was getting two tyres put on rims and balanced. I simply do not trust any workshops to do the work to my standards.

The most I’ve spent washing/hand waxing a car was 3 1/2 hours. This job looks like it was 5-6 hours but I can really see the work and effort you put. Maguires is my choice too.
