My insurance is $923 a month broken down into 4 weeks is $230.75 a week. My load boards are $300 a month which breaks down to $75 a week. My truck note is only $375 a month which breaks down to $93.75 a week. I paid for my trailer in cash (I have a video for that) so there isn’t a note on that. Then I put back at least $125 a week for maintenance depending on what else I had to pay for out of the week. The only other major thing I didn’t account for is putting back for taxes but I plan on using what I get when I sell those tires for that. See ppl have this paycheck to paycheck mindset so it doesn’t make sense to them when they see someone break it down like this. But it’s easier & it makes more sense. Think about it like this.. would it be easier to eat a foot long from subway in one bite or if you broke it down into sections..? Even though I’m a self proclaimed “numbers guy”, do the math & tell me if I’m wrong. 🤣

You got your own authority or leased on??
Quick tip. After you have secured your load with straps, drive 10 ft at a decent pace and give yourself a decent brake jab. Then go back and retighten the straps. That'll settle your load. Plus, if anything happens the forklift is right around the corner...

Good advice.
Here is a helpful tip: EVERYTIME you stop check your trailer tires for excessive heat. Just touch the tread with the palm of your hand and you will notice a difference if there is anything wrong. And I mentioned in a previous video. Have them filled with nitrogen if possible.
Congratulations man… I’m just start out as too an it’s good to see this. Motivates me more man.. keep doing your thang you got it..
Appreciate you for the motivation 💪🏾
Another tip: Get yourself some manila yellow envelopes to store your receipts because you can lose some of the receipts from the door while opening the door in the highway or any where with high winds.
Big ups to you young blood !! It seems like hotshot is the new gold rush these days. Thanks for the video
I really didn’t know you could use your iPhone to scan documents in notes lol! 😂 that really helped me and my mom to save money not using those BS doc-u-sign apps, and it makes doing the post booking paperwork easier and faster. I really appreciate that man I just subscribed! Very informative videos that other hotshoters don’t touch on fully ! Shouts out to Texas!
Just wanted to let you know that you do excellent videography, excellent drone views and background music …..!!! I came across your channel because I’m interested in hauling freight
I’m an accountant right now but you inspire me to start my own trucking business. Thank you for your hard work and personality.

I appreciate that! 💯
You probably know this already, but if you put the chains at a 45 degree angle you don't have to worry about the load moving upwards, forward, or backward and do the chains in a cross or x pattern to prevent it from moving sideways so the board that you use would just be extra protection. Also if you can invest in getting some D-Rings welded on the trailer to help with loads that require chains
This is awesome!!! Thanks for sharing!!! More props to you man!!!!
I don’t do hotshot but I rock w your content and ya hustle 🤞🏾
keep up the great videos bro 💪🏽
Great Footage Chris.. Keep Grinding!!
New sub thanx for bringing the dope footage and the well explained information…hopefully I start my hot shot trucking company at the end of the year

Edits are sick man! Killer mega also
Hey man you doing real good. i hotshot 2 so imma give u a gold nugget. always try to have ur straps an rachet binders on ur drivers side so u can see them as u drive. Some truckers say on passenger side so ur out of traffic to keep u safe if u need to rework them. but from my experiance its best to be able 2 see them if they come loose....that will save u some trouble out there.

Love the content and the info .. I have to ask tho man what camera are you using
you did good changing that tire.
Hopefully by now you have figured out that the fastest way to change a trailer tire is to drive the good axle up on some scrap wood, lifting the flat tire up off the ground. Would like to see you keep those chains and binders inside the rub rails. They are a lot less likely to get knocked off in an accident.

Remember that as soon as that trailer comes out of the dealer. Tires need to be change it will save u a lot of headaches. Promise.
Fort Worth that’s my hood…..like the vids keep on hustling my authority should be active on the 18th
Great vid bro! Did you ever make a video talking about why you stopped the box truck loads and started hot shotting?
@ChrisTV1

It’s coming..
Love you work homie. I really do. What size bed do you have on your Cummins?
You should invest in an impact driver just in case you have to change a tire again. It’ll make taking the lugs off a lot quicker
you did good on the bellyroll
You he slappin the absolute fuck outta that camera 🤣🤣🤣
Chris you should think about getting a EARTHQUAKE XT 20V Cordless 3/4 In. impact from harborfrieght,
Anyone else's ear drum blew tf out when the beat dropped 😬 be easy out on the road brotha 🤙
Good job
Arizona got the best sunrises and sunsets hands down
2:35 I wouldn't put my legs under there with just a floor jack. 20:19 That was pretty funny, actually! (No worries since you have it on video.)
MORE VIDS PLEASE
That's wassup! 💯
Easier if you had a 4way more leverage for the tire. Bro your videos are dope n not boring. Good job mayne
ft bliss first. then Montana. enjoy your trip. stay safe.
Bro I was just in Moab a month ago. You gotta check out arches national park while you're there. Make that $$$$$ tho.
Carry chalk markers and next time a hater steals them, which will happen unfortunately. You can write the info on the back window.
Great video ,I'm interested in starting in the business. Any tips?
What’s up Chris! Hope all is well. I’m new to the channel. Just subscribed. Could you do a video of you actually strapping down a load, if you haven’t already.
@ChrisTV1

Working on that now, waiting for a GoPro head strap to come in.
What’s the gauge shit over on the left of the dash? Truck tuner? Do a video on how you got the sleeper area laid out. Looks like a big ole bed 👍🏻
the tops of those mountains were the top at the time of creation
Great video...What's up with the boxtruck?
That ain’t bad profit at all 👍💯
Dope and very helpful content. Why did you stop using the box truck?
such a brain warning. no more sugar buddy. none. sugar is a let down.
all military loads should be by themselves. period. no matter how light.
Brooooo that discount tire like 10min from my crib that’s in mesquite damn bro that’s crazy.
Quik question chris da protective straps n lock down down chains u had to buy for yourself or are they provided to you for example that military load u got on there?
Try 18 ply you will see the difference costs more but in long run not to many broke down good look I have same trailer you have
1/2 inch Battery impact should be your next option
I need that information I’ve stumbled upon the work world, but I need to understand the lane to stay in for the startup.
You in my hood bro! Rio Rancho NM
Let me know if you need tires ! You’re getting taxed!! I have my own tire distribution that works along side with these large companies.
Keep up the good work I wanna know everything will be doing but make sure you tell me beta 2021 heavy duty gooseneck trailer that you got how much weight can I how old 40,000 a way of 50,000 a week
Bro have you ever made a video about how you make the videos? The software you use the drone you have?
How is it I know so much just starting out? How to strap things down changing the tire. backing up the trailer booking your own loads. These are vet moves. How you get so knowledgeable so fast???
Nice truck
@ChrisTV1

Thanks
How long is your trailer? you still doing your box truck loads too? and do you prefer box truck or flatbed hotshot? thanks
Big question? which do you prefer Box truck or hot shot and why?
better get insurance. not on loads but on equipment. glad about no payments. after a while your logistic will help cover insurance for loads. but you might get held up. for your load. so it's best to go without. I'm thinking those that insure the loads end up highjacking the loads. just be careful.
