Making 1000 Books and so much more! Being as efficient as possible.

What I go through to print and bind 1000 books. It sometimes takes longer than I expect because of the small jobs that go through the shop. Several tricks to improve uptime and print quality on Konica Minolta Digital presses. Printing, trimming, cutting, binding book blocks. Another productive few days at the family print shop.

    Thank you so much! At last I know exactly what cause this annoying effect on bond thick or sturdy papers. I had asked so many times official Konica Minolta dealer about this ghosting effect and how I can to eliminate this, and never get reasonable answer! Even in new models it's still present! They just say: change paper charging parameters or change the paper or blah, blah, blah. So many wasted time, toner and paper for trying resolve this particular problem. I was not able to push right buttons to make print out perfect on thick sturdy stock, drives me nuts with continuously drilling question: why? On my Ricoh this prints absolutely fine, on KM machinery no WAY!!!. And you with simple explanation just make my day! It's logical, and it's working! I'm still long to go watch all your video blogs, but so far I really learned a lot about KM press series machinery thought I'm not novice in this matter! Thank You so much to make this wonderful videos with simple and very good explanations!

Pull down 10mm design and it print normaly, but now i don’t need to do that, now i can use regular 320x450 paper. That problems show on 350gsm paper on 1060 minolta!!! Well, HP is leading the inkjet web press and the office pagewide printer. Konica has industrial inkjet press, compete to HP’s Indigo. Epson and Canon started to introduce the array inkjet late 2019. It may be a trend now, but toner press and inkjet are not interchangeable. Personally, inkjet is great for highend and lowend jobs, but toner press is compatible to more media. By the way, I manually insert 1000 letters for 4hour non-stop this week. Definitely a torment on my arms.

  • @justaprinter

    @justaprinter

    4 жыл бұрын

    Haha, I know how that torment feels! Also couldn't agree more that toner is king for short run. It tough to say that inkjet would ever take over either because both toner and inkjet are evolving as time goes on. It will be interesting.
