All the diehard Big L fans please have faith in me I will never stop continuing on the lyrical path he paved for us. I’ve probably watched this 1000 times n it always feels fresh n always reinforces the vision we share. He had monumental plans far beyond the common consensus. A culture where multi-syllabic lyrics that would still sound good acapella. One love to uncle Mont you live forever🧡

REAL LIFE SHITTTTTTT 🤞🏾💯🙏🏽💪🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥
When the host said: "It's about time for y'all to rhyme", D Flow scanned the room real quick, and took the initiative with no fear, when you work on your skill focus steps in place, and any fear that was present, leaves the premises. Edited to say that the first flow was the most flawless flow of all, in this session, and it's a metaphor for life, how D Flow was caught off guard, but his skill was so on point that he was able to smash through his verse easy (when skill meets opportunity you gotta be the first to step up).

That’s why he’s my goat, made a point of trying to destroy every track he was on. Truly the greatest of all time for me, nobody can tell me otherwise… there isn’t one song where he is outshined or spits a sub par verse, he was and is the definition of a true lyricist, no one compares to him for me, some are similar in ways but none are ever as gifted as he was. Rip L, I’ll see you soon
Just look how focused he is while freestyling
Damn them are bars! RIP Big L!
The beat D-Flow freestyles over is from Themes, Dreams & Schemes, for everyone that searchin it too. When L starts flowing it seems like his eyes become a wall from where a inner voice reads the lyrics down, like he was possessed
True Hip Hop fans & fellow Harlemnites forever Love & Miss Big L, especially if you grew up in the era & were blessed to have met him in person on 139th as I was. His ability to write & recite versatile lyrics that depicted all that Harlem & NYC had to offer was incomparable.
Unmatched, you can tell other people in that room just listened in awe
This guy is humble with ultimate first rate high level confidence but humble. He gave props to Cam and DMX for setting him up for success. They brought back the real raw hip hop
An EPIC freestyle session 👍! Rip Big L and Party Arty(P-80)🙏!

28/3-2021 and I come back watching this again. Can kinda get a glimpse of that dope personality. Humble, business minded, clear goals. A young gifted man at his peek that went platinum with his second studio album right after his untimely and tragic passing. Unfortunately this was his last album. R.I.P. to Big-L the Harlem finest. 139 lenox representative to world wide fame. His name is still honored and his music still very much alive. And that's exactly what great music is supposed to be. Timeless
