As you know, opera is more than just singing. It's acting as well. Rachele Gilmore brought down the house because (it is believed) she was the first to hit a high A-flat in the history of the Met. Her voice is phenomenal! That being said, for acting (in this part) I have yet to see anyone do as good a job as Maki Mori. I concur with the posters who said she really looked like a doll (actually an automaton). She behaved like one, as well. Kudos to her for a job well done.

Fabulous. Les Contes is one of my very favourite operas
This is the best doll song performance ive seen and will always like besides the lady on that talent show. To people who think other people who sing it are better i am very picky about that part at 3:20 - 3:30 if they dont sound like maki mori or the lady on the talent show i wont like it like at all. The lady on the talent show set a standard for me and so did maki mori.

バイオリンのような、一本の曲線のようなイメージ。音の隔たりが本当に滑らかで、苦しさを全く感じさせない、気持ち良く聴けてブラボー！！！！！！
普通に鳥肌が立った。 日本人の方にも歌われてたことあるんだなと思うと、すごいなと。音域も様々だし、出す声に関しても強弱がある曲だと思います。
素晴らしいですね。 森さんの高音は張り上げるのではなく、伸びやかで艶やかで 本当に心地良い。パフォーマンスも、くどく無く愛らしい。 欧米のストイックなオランピアとは全く違う次元で、私はどちらかと言うと森さんのオランピアが一番好きです。

同感です。 ソプラノ歌手の歌声と言えば大抵は「悲鳴」にしか聞こえないところですが、 彼女の歌声はとても音楽的で、聴いていても苦痛を感じない 数少ないソプラノ歌手だと思います。

素晴らしい。CDにもこれを入れて欲しい。柔らかく優美な歌声に加え、森麻季さんといえばピッチの正確さ。踊りながらこれとは。聴いていて本当に心地よい。この手の曲はピッチが合わないとイライラしてしまうから。。。 曲の解釈とかはもはや好みだと思うが、すべてひっくるめて、森麻季さん、最高です！
