For MMA khabib is right, for straight submission grappling, Jiu Jitsu is up there, plus the choke Islam used which is Arm Triangle choke (from Jiu Jitsu *I am not sure about the origins but we do use it a lot in Jiu Jitsu) All grappling martial arts overlap. Just because the Dagestanis/Chechens eat Jiu Jitsu black belts for breakfast doesnt mean anyone can do that... And before you assume anything, I picked Islam to win and I am a fan of this whole team Islam/Khabib/Umar/Usman.

he was striking just like previous fights. Jumping upkick, flying knee, swinging hook etc. As Charles lacked head movement as always and Islam being a counter striker, Islam utilized that very effectively.. That's why Charles looked bad
