I love this! I've seen so many KZreadrs do this type of video but for the "Don't " side they exaggerate EVERYTHING and do makeup mistakes that aren't common. But your video is so much more real and authentic with more common mistakes people do and we can all learn from this video. Thank you!

yeah that really bothers me! esp eye shadow. i used to be so good at eye shadow but havent really worn it for a long time and now my eyes are not as youthful shall we say, and i struggle to get it to look as good. none of the "dont" videos i see show how subtle things can make it look wrong and just show packing on loads which i dont do, but it still dont look right

I felt exactly the same. I felt bad and then it made me angry how often she had to do it. I want her natural look that's why I'm watching. I want to know what not to do for a natural look. If that's not what people are looking for then find another video. Don't get upset by what she has to say.

Mariah i think that people who dont really know their undertone are pretty neutral or have never ever used any concealer or foundation. If you are not sure, go to sephora and try some products on your wrist, hand or jawline. If one undertone looks just ridiculous on you, u r the other one. If both look „ok”, go for the neutral ones

Just my thoughts so take it with a grain of salt....I'm all for affordable but skin care is one area I try to buy the best I can afford. We can put on and take off make up but we only get 1 skin so I don't skimp (unless of course it is an amazing product). I've noticed my skin is much happier and my skin & make up (even drugstore stuff) looks better when I buy better quality products. On the flip side expensive/luxury does not always mean it's better. I have several Mario Bedescu products that are affordable and work great.

I find myself doing most things on the "good" side but little tips like starting the transition shade on the outer parts of my eyes was something i didn't even think about and I think doing this will make my eye makeup so much better! I still haven't been brave enough to use fake lashes, I feel like every time I have used them in the past, I trim them too much or too little, they don't stick on my eyes properly, I leave them too long to get "tacky" and they just end up doing completely dry instead and so on! The only time I ever wear fake lashes is when someone else does them for me lol. Can anyone else relate? Or it just me?

I am forever grateful that I stumbled upon your channel. Just since discovering you yesterday, I have watched several of your videos and they have ALL offered me something of good use! I was raised by a single dad and never dappled in makeup until my college years, where I did the very basics. Now I am 25 and loving makeup more and more. This video is my saving grace right now as I have made so many simple mistakes and have always wondered why my makeup looks a certain way, especially in terms of patchy foundation (I definitely do NOT exfoliate my skin enough at all!) Thanks to your videos, I feel a little more confident trying things with makeup that I otherwise wouldn't have such as contouring/highlighting and exploring more colors with eye shadow. So thank you!

I'm pretty sure nobody have done the same mistake as I have, but here we go; some years ago before I started watching makeup tutorials on youtube I bought a highlighter online and didn't really know what it was or how to use it. I didn't do this often, just a few (2-3) times on special occasions. I used the highlighter under my eyes as you do with concealer in kind of a triangle shape!! 😳😨😂 Isn't that the biggest fail? 😂😂 I guess I'd seen some pictures of people contouring and using something light/bright under their eyes and didn't understand what they used. I'm not sure if I even used liquid fondation with it. So all I really did was highlighting my blue vains and undereyes 😂😂

And I used it this way for far too long!

Just because the first ingredient in a foundation is water, doesn't necessarily mean the foundation is water-based. If the ingredients that follow it are dimethicone, trimethicone, cyclomethicone, or basically anything else ending in "cone," the product is actually silicone based because although there's more water than any other singular ingredient, all those silicones combined outweigh the amount of water, making it silicone based. The foundation you used, for example, is actually silicone based.

  • @tjolsenb

Most silicone based foundations actually list water as the first or second ingredient, so you really need to be careful and read the whole list.

  • @turbo8181

avoid hate,,,???,,,, Hmmm, maybe, just maybe, you might be the 'ONLY ONE' that had hate even enter your mind. Maybe she is not worried about offending, or give a rats ass about the haters. It could be that is just her way of correcting herself or her way of saying reguardless of what most have thought about something or most people's way of doing something is not the best approach to the task or topic, and she has a better or improved angle to achieve the desired result. For some its their way of politely saying "I am right & You are wrong", or maybe to say,.... "what ever You can do I can do better, what ever You can do, I can do better than You", (hehe), Lol... But a true or proper Lady doesn't express herself in such a (hoe from the hood) like manner now does she,? No, not at all; a true Lady communicates such differences or discrepencies in a much more subtle way;,,, -- ie. "I'm sorry", as in... - "I'm sorry some can only interpret as well as a Neanderthal, but if you actually would be willing to put some thought into a given subject and not allow oneself to become distracted by the fact that all the different color crayons (or MakeUp,!!!) all look so yummy that they probably taste as delightfully 'yummy' as they look,,, - One might find that no matter how long or often or how many people have been doing a specific task with medi-ocre or even good results there is always the possibility of vast improvements usually accomplished by those of higher IQ or will and determination and focus",,,,!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm ,,, I'm Sorry, (hehe) but it seems to me the only "HATER" that comes to mind reguarding this video, or channel is the person who is bashing someone for using the term "i'm Sorry" in a context that is completely alien and unfamiliar to them and is unable to see that sometimes is used in a way of trying to be humble and/or polite to those of lesser intelagence. Btw, what made me read your comment in the 1st place was.... I saw your profile pic in the little circle beside your comment and it caught my eye bc I thought you were pretty,,; ..... But "Im Sorry" (In the conventional term), sorry to tell you that by the time it took me to read the 15 or so words that you put together as your comment, in that time you went from "pretty" to,,;.. ---- Wow, she is ugly, a ugly person, its all that I could then see in that little profile pic circle, "I'm Sorry", I cant help it, I think "Haters" are "ugly", (But I'd still do ya, it wouldnt be my first time with an ugly chick) hehe, kiss, kiss,,,,, xoxo XXX,,!!!!!!! (jk), LOL, ' bi -'bi sweety ;-) ***
