That was my problem, as a 40 year old mom that never really put on makeup before, that is very disheartening when you see them look one way before and after they apply the makeup. 1. Moisturize- concentrating on especially dry area 2. Eyebrows-pencil to create shape, darker color to deepen, brush to blend, clean with concealer, blend, blend, blend! 3. Primer- pat don't rub or massage 4. Foundation-matching your decolletage area ( between the neck and chest) 5. Concealer/Contouring - for highlighting under eyes, nose, forehead, nose, chin (T- shape) - hairlines, cheeks, nose - tapping not swiping or rubbing, blend 7. Setting powder/Baking/Translucent -press into concealer, use brush if you have dry skin, sponge for oily skin -Pat off extra powder 8. Bronzer- for sunkissed look, highlighting above cheekbones, nose contouring, eyes, lower lash, eye shadow 9. Liquid eye liner/lashes/mascara first to blend with lashes 10. Lips 11. Setting spray

Same here! I’m 48 and have never really worn makeup. My idea of wearing makeup was black eyeliner, clear mascara and colored lip gloss. If it was a special occasion, lipstick, black eyeliner and mascara and some random foundation that I thought matched but actually didn’t.😩🤦🏽‍♀️💀I’m getting a little older now and I’d like to look better when I’m out.

1. Moisturize (face milk) 2. Eyebrows (spooly brush , pencil, concealer underneath) 3. Primer-do not massage in the skin 4. Foundation (3-4 pumps, use beauty blender or brush) 5. Concealer (a little lighter than foundation, blend with a sponge- pat) 6. Darker concealer for contouring (forehead, upper cheek, nose) 7. Setting powder (use brush to press concealer into creases) 8. Bronzer (belongs where you contoured and in the corners of eyes, can also use as eyeshadow) 9. Liquid eyeliner 10. Mascara, then apply lashes, use lash glue as a liner 11. Apply blush 12. Highlighter (gold if darker complexed)- tip of nose, high part of cheek, upper crease on top lip) 13. Apply lip liner and gloss 14. Staying spray

I’m new to your channel and I can say that this was a wonderful video. I struggle with oily skin on my nose and under my eyes with dry skin on my cheeks and this really helped with hiding that and bringing out my more natural features. I can say I do struggle with putting on lashes and that technique you used will really help me. I’m not that experienced with makeup, but now I feel prepared and ready to go so thank you so much!
