If I saw this color story anywhere else, I'd feel the same! I've had great luck with Makeup by Mario shadows though!

I’m 58 w/mature eyes , and I absolutely LOVED the first Master Mattes palette❣️!! I purchased this one as soon as I received my Sephora alert , and have since received it 😁☺️!!! I actually find this formula slightly silkier , and LOVE THIS PALETTE just as much,if not more 👏👍!! The M11 shade is an amazing versatile and gorgeous shade…highly recommend 👌❤️🩷♥️!!!

Thanks for the in depth review!! I picked this up and have been struggling so hard to understand the layout/organization, intended usage, etc. Hearing you say out loud things like “this formula is supposed to be buildable,” “these shades are intended to be more muted,” really helped me to understand and appreciate the formula better. I’m used to Natasha Denona and the differences in the formulas have made application difficult for me. 😅m going to try a different layering application tomorrow to see if I like the palette more that way. Thanks again

The original master mattes and original ethereal have COMPLETELY different formulas. They specified that on release too. EE formula is much better. But I have heard this MM2 is similar to EE. This looks cute but I think I prefer having cool/warm in 1 palette with my Patrick Ta. And I don't like grays and his formulas are superior, even in the swatches. Who knows, I'll probably surprise myself and pick this up at some point hahaha.

Yes I've heard the original Ethereal was sooo different also! The Neutrals palette definitely feels similar.

This look looks nice. I feel like I’m the only one dislikes this palette.
