great board! just got mine and already running and printing!

I had difficulty downloading the firmware on the board. I had to keep pressing the button next to ESP32 to connect and keep it pressed until it appears connecting in VS Code. When it appeared connecting, I released it and it downloaded normally.

What is the maximum frequency for the step rate?

Hello, I have a 12V 20A power supply, I see that on the board there are 12V and 24V outputs, would I have 24V output with a 12V power supply. (i have a 24V heat bed) Does the card have a DC-DC converter? Thanks for your answer.

Hi Makerbase Team, is it ok to use a 12v 30A power supply or will it overheat the mosfets and do the mosfets have a heatsink????

This construction is tried and tested and can survive up to about 12A bed current - the MOSFETs are heatsunk into the PCB, there is no explicit heatsink and you aren't supposed to put one on top, as it's not going to do much. There is a thermal via arrangement and cooling area at the bottom of the PCB where you can heatsink them if you feel that they're getting a little too spicy warm to your liking, but it should be alright. Don't worry about the amperage of your PSU that you connect, as long as it is sufficient. Worry about the amperage that the connected components are going to pull. I also think it's more likely for the bed MOSFET to fail in this board due to inductive kick rather than due to heat, since no freewheeling diode has been foreseen. I don't see it as likely that the other MOSFETs will fail. It is of course easy to pop a fuse if you short something, necessitating repair. Of course operation independent failure is always possible due to a defective component or handling errors during PCB manufacturing, it is what it is.

I have serial port connection error when ever I switch the PSU on. I am also having problem connecting it with repetier host. When I try to home X axis it makes noise and miss steps and fail to reach enstop. Other axis work fine.

Got the problem solved by not connecting the endstop red cable. Though it used to work nicely with ramps.

does it have short circuit protection on heater cartridge?

There are fuses protecting the board and upstream power supply in the case of any short, but they look to be non polyfuse type, they need to be desoldered and replaced if you pop them.

There is no data channel to configure and query the TMC chips. They ran out of pins on the processor IC.

How to flash it via WiFi? Is it possible to do this?

3018 can use our dlc32 motherboard, we have never used this motherboard to test on 3018

@@santhermTV Я себе тоже заказал такую же плату, главное не дорого и думаю, что со временем будет и поддержка других типов прошивок. Через веб интерфейс можно менять конфигурацию и управлять принтером..

Boa noite. Também tive dificuldade para baixar o firmware na placa. Precisei ficar pressionando o botão próximo a ESP32 para conectar e manter pressionado até aparecer conectando no VS Vide. Quando apareceu conectando soltei e baixou normalmente.

Hi Makerbase Team, my REPRAP_DISCOUNT_FULL_GRAPHIC_SMART_CONTROLLER is not working I changed serial port_2 2 and disabled wifisupport but it just beeps and flashes intermittantly.......screen works fine on ramps.

👍Thanks Makerbase Team, I now got it working....here`s what i did, i pulled up the two plastic connector blocks away from the pins(EXP1,EXP2) then turned them 180° so the cutout is at the top and pressed them down onto the pins.These screens are in reverse to MKS boards...hope it helps someone😀.

How could i connect mechanical endstop? No reaction.

Connect the S and G of the mechanical limit to the enstop interface on the motherboard, you can refer to our manual

@@L0rdD3s7r0y3r Rotate a little bit, the level of enstop set in the configuration file is wrong, you can configure it in reverse (false/true)
