@@sailormani that would be great but so called enviornmental and human rights activists etc are up in arms against this move. Dharavi is a hotbed of migrants mostly employed in various small scale industries and unorganised sector , but still significantly contribute to the city's and country's economy. Displacing thousands of these migrants to another location is a huge challenge but definitely workable. However,Many so called NGOs and activists employed by opposition parties are blindly raising a red flag to anything and everything that's in country's long term interest.

Very nice but still miles behind Chinese cities in infrastructure. Mumbai needs large shopping districts with open space walkable squares. Slums must reduce a lot. They are taking up precious developable land and access ways to connect roads to lessen traffic. And degrading Mumbai’s environment causing considerable pollution. The slum situation must change for Mumbai to become more livable.

Software is just a tiny part of India's economy. Of any country's economy actually. Finance, services and industrial both machinery and agriculture industries make up bulk of economic sector. Check the facts if you don't believe me. Just because Bengaluru has a few it firms doesn't mean it's way above any other city. Its economy is not even 1/3rd that of Mumbai or NCR and even less than that of Kolkata Metropolitan Area

I personally found Delhi more interesting and beautiful. Its organic as Delhi has much more history and historical areas than Mumbai. Plus Delhi has the old city with its own problems and charm. Things can definitely be improved in both the cities albeit in different ways.

Hence I began my sentence with - "I personally ... " . Delhi has several pre Mughal (Rajput era to be precise and even earlier) areas and places too and nothing wrong with Mughal architecture either. Mumbai was founded by the Brits and has some beautiful historical buildings too as well but pales in comparison with Delhi. Food in Delhi similarly has much more layers and shades because of its history. Marine drive definitely is a plus for Mumbai compared to Delhi. Mumbai actually has some nicer nature close to it if not in it. Delhi has great nature even if slightly farther away to the north.

For other state and foreigners developed mumbai means only south Mumbai you guys see only Mumbai of South whenever the name Mumbai is said only csmt and churchgate side areas are well developed because of ministry powers held there but come and see in North Bombay 🙂

Surprise to see Indian city is so nice. I think it’s better than many cites in China like my city Tianjin

First time I saw a chinese who accepted which type of city is comparable to their cities. Mostly comment that it's not even competitive with tier 3rd cities in china.

Mein Mumbai se hu aur kabhi bhi delhi aur chandigarh visit karta hu main ye chote chote differences notice karta hu lekin kya kar sakte hai, waha ki public ko aisa mumbai jaisa chalane ki adat nahi par kuch samay baad woh bhi aise hi chalaenge
