The PlayStation Portal is awesome! The wife always used to whine that I was downstairs playing video games while she was alone in bed. Now I can play my PS5 games in bed while she faces the wall! Nice tips bro!

And that’s the reason i bought one, thanks to destiny 2 being cross progression now instead of being on my pc in my game room now I get to play next to her on my portal.

I remember growing up on ps3 and 4 but ever since I graduated hs and the 5 came out I haven’t really been interested in PlayStation anymore since there haven’t been many good games for it 😔

No, the PS5 must be on when you’re using the PlayStation Portal. Set your PS5 to go into sleep mode after 1hr of standby, and once you sign into your PlayStation Portal the PS5 will turn on itself and you’re ready to game.

Awesome tech tips! The PlayStation Portal is really cool, love having a dedicated device for PS5 gaming, wish it was 4K!

I assume you can’t go on the portal and choose the 5ghz connection? My PS5 is hardwired to the network. Be cool to prioritise 5ghz with the portal

Just create an SSID for 5ghz only, or ensure that your SSId has band steering turned on

@bigtasty2248 I usually create two ssid’s for my networks WirelessName2.4ghz and WirelessName5ghz Set frequency on each and connect devices that only support 2.4 to one, and 5 to other. So PS5 and Portal go on 5ghz

It looks cool tho. Get if u can afford it. 🤷🏿‍♀️ It just looks like a 2 door Bugatti to your home full of 4 ppl 😔 the ps5 is your home 🏡 and the bugatti 🚗 is the ps portal 🎮. Do you really need a Bugatti 😔when you can get a cheaper car that can hold 4 ppl n do more things. I was rised with the PSP 1000 n up I get everything I do support them I just would not tell ppl to buy this. This was a downgrade for me. At least have Android running.🤔 I mean I would have been happy with that right. 😳 hear me out You can only remote play right like Keep everything that's on it right now but make a ps portal store for only handle games they made. so everything on psvita psp go then only ps 1 to ps3 games to download on that's it. Like they don't need to make any new games just give us all the old games to download on it with a decent price I'm all for it. Then when I get bored the ps5 portal 🎤 drop. Just give me that I'm down Side note if it's not in the ps5 vr when I got my headset on n if it's not a virtual thing cuz they are known for lil Easter egg that's a downgrade. I love the idea tho. Good for ppl that can buy it. Just my option. 🤷🏿‍♀️ Sorry
