In this project video I will be showing you how I combined easy to get components in order to create a powerful electric motorized longboard. The main components I will be talking about are BLDC hub motors, the FSESC (aka VESC), a 2.4GHz remote controller and finally a custom made Li-Ion battery pack. This project might not be the cheapest, but the end result will be very awesome and thus worth it! Let's get started!

This is the first time I have seen your face. I have always imagined you to be older 50+ your voice is calm, measured and soothing. I understand about 50% of what you present in your videos. But I watch almost every one. Because I feel like, what I don't understand is somehow implanted in my subconscious. With of your style of a methodical process coupled with testing and explanations, I feel as if I have learned something. And that I could also do this if I bothered to buy the components and do the builds. this is the stuff that I wish I could do if I wasn't to lazy. And you show me that I could if I wanted to (with study and practice) So thank you very much, BOODOO

I'm really interested to see what are good (and safe) ways to create higher voltages (at which tubes often start working), so that you could use tubes in appliances that are powered by USB for example. Also I'm really interested in the ' old-book' series you told you were planning on doing :-) Thanks again for your awesome videos!

urugulu you just leave the ESC heatshrink exposed in a rectangle cutout at the bottom. Or they have watercooled ESCs popular in this size, so you could even mount an external radiator but honestly like 4 Oz of water in a reservoir will probably be enough anyways just to absorb heat since this thing has a super short range (6.5 km/30kph max speed= 13 minutes of runtime). Plus that means his average was 23 amps (so under 12 amps per motor), and that’s like a pitiful amount of power, like any cheap ESC can handle that and those are put in model airplanes with often 0 airflow enclosed in foam board... He won’t be getting those beast of ESCs very warm at all, even with 0 airflow and pedal to the metal!
