Make Your Own Short Circuit Protection Circuit
In this video, two short circuit protection circuits are tested, compared and explained theoretically and practically.
Relay based circuit components:
Relay - 2 LEDs - capacitor - 2 diodes - 1 push button.
Transistor based circuit components:
PNP Transistor - NPN - Transistor - 2 LEDs - 4x 1kOhm resistors - 1x 10kOhm resistor.

i AM ALREADY THINKING ABOUT THE AC VERSION OF THE RELAY BASED sc PROTECTION. YOUR EXPLANATION IS GREAT. THANKS FOR SHARING

Thank you for the feedback!
Great work 😍😍
Great work bro
Wow this is very helpful - thank you! I have one question though - if I want to decrease the amount of current that the circuit "trips" at - do I need to decrease or increase the resistance of the 1k resistor? - also will the transistor still protect against short circuits, even though it doesn't isolate the power source? Thanks in advance!
cool bro
I prefer the transistor based design. If I were to build it, I think I would use an adjustable voltage regulator in order to compensate for the diode drop.

Enigma758 nice. I didn’t try that 😁
thank you

the video description is edited and now the components used are mentioned there.
يا اخي ليش الشرح مو بالغه العربيه
You make some decent videos and I like your intro, but it seems pretty obvious that you are ripping off Great Scott's tagline when you end with "And see you next time!"

Haha alright thank you for the feedback. I didn’t do it intentionally but if it seems this way I will consider my ending style
