Always nice to see a well presented video on modding a controller 😎 At 7.40 them two little tabs, if you position your hand to give a bit leverages on the cover, it'll pop the back off so much easier, hate to imagine how many times I've done these controllers and hopeful helped many people on the way 😁

When I done one of mine …if you place a piece of tape on the back buttons that fall out it will hold them into place …… also if you are not soldering you don’t need to remove those 2 screws on the ends by the rumble

Thanks for the kind words! I admit it can seem daunting but what you actually do is pretty easy. It's when you want to solder the extra parts to the controller that it takes REAL know how. This is just following along!

ive had one for 2 months now but now im having to click it more then once for it to register or work but it works fine when not playing a game has anyone els have this problem

my backpeice to cover the motherboard won't fit pn, can you think of any really why?

Did they make new revisions? I don't remember it being this easy, before we had to cut shit and use ribbon connectors that were provided with the kit

The older version was a bit harder and before that probably even harder. This is really easy as long as you follow the steps.

That claw grip is an optimal way but damn is it very uncomfortable I much prefer having back buttons cause my hands feel better w them lol😭

I play claw and it feels fine. At first, your hands get a little sorr because its not used to clicking button like that, but once you’re used to it, theres no pain, at least for me

is the extremerate kit fine to use on mw3. ik its just back buttons, and this is a stupid question but since u install it yourself im just making sure they dont thnk its a mod or something. So can u use this ban free on call of duty. I ordered them and i wanna start using them but i just want to double check all there stuff is fine with the new game

I honestly couldn't tell you but it's shouldn't because it's only adding buttons like a regular pro controller. There's no extra features beyond that. It seems many people use it for CoD based on looking at the extreme rate subreddit.

Ima buy this for my 030 ps5 controller and see if it works I hope it does 😢😢

Yes but it'll require some soldering and a few other tools like a hot glue gun. You want to buy remapper flex board, kynar wire 30awg, tact buttons and some caps.

man for the back two buttons that you attach at the end.. im having the hardest time snapping the bottom part in.. how the hell did you do it you didnt even show

I had trouble many times yesterday too with trying to snap the back buttons onto the backcase until i realized at 20:30 that i didn't put that board correctly slotted there so the lower part of the board was kinda elevated up from its place and i screwed it in and that was how i could not snap the back buttons in. I fixed it and it works

I use the same spider man controller i have been searching for a video with my same controller i need more red in the controller but i dont like the red grip in the starting but i dont mind black can you tell me if rise 2 with 2 back buttons is better or 4 is better

They are the same, only difference is the buttons. I personally prefer 4 buttons.

No but they have one that does and there's instructions floating around that show you how to install it because it is different install steps.

Yes very strange decision by ps to only include 2 back buttons, when all other controllers in this price range come with four.
