808 is just a sine wave with distortion and proper ADSR. Maybe a little bit of pitch modulation on the attack

Not all hardclips are the same!

Here's an I think important notice for everyone using synths like serum to create their own kick drum: turn down the phase randomization and let your wave start at the highest amplitude (in this case 90 degrees). This will ensure that your kick is as strong as it can be, and also consistent when played through midi within your track. The init settings are good for melodic sounds, because the variation in phase adds more warmth to your music. However, when making any kind of EDM for example, a kick drum that slightly variates in loudness and punchiness all the time can really drain quite some energy out of your songs! :0

Also make sure the random knob is set to 0% so your kick retriggers it’s phase properly.

Cause is the cleanest wavetable. For punchy kick is the best one but of course you can try others

OSC 1 makes a transient (first hit), OSC 2 makes body of kick (the boom of the kick).

Why use 4 LFOs in envelope mode if there are literal envelopes available? For weird shapes that env can‘t do it sure is fine but why LFOs for everything? At least the tutorial in general is good.

You can just drag and drop that kick from the synth to the playlist and use it as a sample

for LFO 1, how do you only add it to the right side of the CRS?

@@wildcrowmusic by the way if you send an envelope or LFO, you can press alt shift and click to make the envelope unsigned instead of signed, making the envelope only + the value, instead of - and + the value, allowing you to precisely pitch the kick at a key
