Make Your Movie Look Big Budget Using AI

Фильм және анимация

In this video I'll show you how I easily used AI in Photoshop to extend the set of our film project Cloud Mountain. I'll also show you how we can use some tricks to make it look more credible in a film or video.

You should also be adding noise on top of everything to have it come together. The video will always have some amount of noise/ grain, and if you don't have any small movements of noise across the rest of the image it will not feel as real as the moving video.

This might be one of the most revolutionary things I've seen in my time on this planet. Imagine what you can create with this and how fast. Completely changes the game of what a single person can do, the scope of projects and the time needed to execute even HUGE changes

@@flonkplonk1649 it's just dead piece of entertainment, it's supposed to be replaceable. It's not real human interaction. If we get flooded with endless amounts of generated content, I think we will value any detached piece of media less and will go back to valuing interacting with people, like we used to before we were able to record human expression in books and movies and games etc. Movies entertain us because they fool us that we're interacting with the real world and real living beings, but it has always been a lie, a dead limited recording incomparable to real life

This is INCREDIBLE!! With this in your repertoire the price HAS to go up 🔥Some people don't know how much work this actually is. Just shooting a film alone is one thing, but adding this it almost doubles the workload. I hope they realize this and charge accordingly.

Even if this video doesn't really provide anything new for me, I've hardly seen a simpler, more pleasant and likeable tutorial of its kind. I don't know why, maybe it's the pleasure, joy and lightness instead of the dogged seriousness to achieve a result. I like his attitude and that he shares it, or how he shares it. Great!

This is really incredible, because we've always had problems with the wide shot being too expensive in terms of location + cost of vfx, both things can be dealt with now when it comes to low - mid level production. It won't replace everything, but it's just a great tool to fill in that one shot you cannot do due to budget restrictions, or because you ddidn't have the time to shoot physically or even have an actor come in for an additional shoot. Hollywood has been doing the same thing for decades where they would shoot an actor in a different studio on the other side of the planet just because of logicistics AND OR budget restrictions too. Baring in mind that we're looking at the embryo version of what software companies are able to offer consumers right now. What an exciting time to be a part of this.

4:48 Apparently, photoshop only generates frames of 1024x1024px, so if you select an area wider than this, photoshop will just upscale a generated picture of 1024x1024px to cover your selection. We thus get a lower quality. To achieve the best quality, it seems that we should build up our scenes by selections no more than 1024x1024px.

I'm particularly impressed with how you've shown the process of creating lamps with light effects and changing the ceiling and floor with AI. These techniques are something I'll be exploring in my own photography work. The final result in the video looks incredibly credible, and I appreciate the insights you've shared. Amazing video, and really fun and understanderble way of showing set extensions! :D The Copyright issue is really interesting, especially when we have stuff like Anime Rock Paper Scissors, where CD uses AI to generate all of the scene, BUT they have a lot of human hands involved to create the final piece, and they paid a designer to create the style (S2). For me, AI images should use the same system at we already have with Stock, where it's opt in. But creating a system where the AI knows, what training data it's using is something I don't know if you can even do, unless you type in "in the style of [artist name]".

At 15 minutes if anyone is using after effects I'd recommend using the 3d camera and just positioning your foreground items, then animating the camera pan in. Great tips tho. For comping too a little bit of noise helps bring everything together along with the coloring.

What give the effect away is that the bookshelf and the tables have no perspective change. When a camera moves in 3D space, we see the prospective change because life is in 3D. Here, because the foreground items are in 2D, they never changes perspective, giving away that they were created in 2D. Of course , if you aren't paying attention to them, then it would probably not be noticeable. I would have loved to see you you 3D elements. That might have look a bit cleaner. Still, it's really fascinating what you can do with Photoshop AI.
