When I seen the commercial I knew they reached out to you. I knew that because of this, you'll give an unbiased review while checking things that we haven't thought of. The most honest drone reviewer on KZread! What I want to know is what other drones it'll fit. Even though it's the DJI, I believe there would be more. Like can this fit on a skydio 2?

Thanks for that. It is specifically designed for the DJI Air 2 and is a perfect fit. On any other drone it would not fit or would be much too loose.

Epic creation indeed. It is really good to see some camera accessory for DJI Mavic Air 2 and Mavic Air 2S! Just thinking, what about other drones compatibility?! Anyway, the Insta360 Sphere ( formerly, the invisible drone 360 camera, lol) is a bit too impressive with those high quality video footage! 48 minutes runtime with that small battery is obviously very good. It is unbelievable to think, that how much has the RC/Camera industry progressed in this 10 years! And, it is still becoming better and better, every single passing day! The recorded 360° footage of Sphere was fantastic ofcourse and such a relief to eyes! It costs around 500-600 USD and it is an expected price for this amazing gadget. It weighs too less i.e., 193 grams, but it is a bit of masd if we put it on a drone! But, no worries as DJI Mavic Air 2/2S are a powerhouse and can easily handle the weight! Looking forward for more of this stuff. Also, I feel that your DJI Mini 3 Pro review is around the corner!

Then I turn on youtube and here you are doing a review on it....LOL.....Guess this means I need to order one for my Air 2S getting ganged up on....🤔...................👍

Well that's just an excellent application of the tech, though, I'd need a version that's flexible to fit on other drones. Very cool stuff though, and excellent review.

Fantastic video, cool product. I could sell the crap out of this kind of footage and put my MA2 to good use. Part 107 here, this could be a game changer.

Got it.... I am prepared to say YES to everything.

I have an older version of the instant360. Love it. The #1 feature I want is the ability to get rid of the fisheye curve that is part of every shot. Fisheye is not really that bad, but sometimes I don't want it. It might be something that needs to be done in post-production editing or new cameras have the ability to shoot without getting the fisheye effect.

Fisheye is user selectable. In my example I used it to varying degrees and other times I used Linear (wide angle) which is what you want when you do not want the fancy effects but just want to show the awesome landscape vistas.

Wicked, the link you posted ships to England, well.as I can't get hold of a Mini 3 pro yet, why not treat myself :) Brilliant video as always, loved it all especially the creativity ising the 360 post prediction, that sold it.

The DJI Air series of drones are the #1 seller for DJI (#2 seller are the Mini drones), so plenty have them which is why that model was chosen for this product

That clamp is the same things as the 25.09 air drop kit on eBay I have one and it's identical except it's grey

So far the best DJI Drone on the market in 2022, based on price and specs, would be the DJI AIR 2S. It is an older drone and will be discontinued next year, but it is one of the few that just does it all really well.

Thanks for another great video. Did you process the sphere video in Insta360 Studio? If so, what was the maximum export resolution? I've seen some sphere videos stating that the maximum reframed export is 1080p. Your footage looks sharper than that.

Not really, you see the goal is to make the drone invisible within the 360 sphere. With an RS camera, you’ll see the drone.

This would be great to see in vr goggles.

I own the Insta360 One X2 and the new RS 1 inch. I love to shoot in HDR photo mode. I assume that you can do this as well, by setting the delay time to 15 seconds, then lift off (this is an example) and go up quickly to lets say 15 meters (50 ft) This should work right? Then you can look straight down from a level way higher than any extended selfie stick :-)

Very interesting product and results indeed. And I must also add I like the 3D animation intros, always different, are these outsourced or how is it worth to do that, very pro. :-)

I make a different intro for each video I make, so that's pretty much over 100 different intros per year. Because they are the last thing I make before publishing the video, I make them quick and sometimes they come out slick and other times ho-hum. All made by me by just using creative tools in Final Cut Pro.

Not really. However INSTA 360 makes so many different versions of their 360 cameras that you may find one that works for you. BETAFPV sells many versions as well.

According to technical specifications, the fimi is 9mm wider and 4mm less deep, does the mount of the insta360 sphere only have a closing position or does it allow a little more clearance? and that I am a user of the insta360 one R and I have always looked favorably on this brand. But I think they shouldn't have focused on just one drone model.

Very inspiring review. Seriously considering this to spice up my Mavic Air 2 (not S), for my upcoming trip to Iceland. Do I need to reserve budget for editing software, or does that come with the camera? Also, can the original 360 footage be watched as 360 with VR glases (such as Oculus)?

The software is free... just search for INSTA360 STUDIO for your PC or MAC, or if on vacation just use the APP on your phone as it can do many more cool things that the studio can't do. In the SUDIO app on your computer you can save the footage as a VR file for KZread (the viewer scrolls around the screen) or other device.

Isn't that what it is supposed to do? If you speed up videos in editing software, the recorded sound usually mutes since it just becomes chipmunk gibberies. To be honest I have not tried it in the app so can't be of much assistance.

Hmmm… it should fit since the bodies are almost identical. You’ll have to ask insta360 that question to be 100% certain.
