To make a longer lumbar pillow try a table runner preferably 20” wide. You can fold over length wise and use a glue gun or sew it. Use pillow stuffing inside .

Although you went by it very quickly, I loved the way you did the simple quick fake tuck at the end of the bed. I can not stand my feet being tightly trapped in the bottom of the bed. This technique would look clean during the day but one quick kick from inside the sheets would loosen it up for comfort!

Love your homemade bolster idea. Brilliant! Our headboard has a big space between it and the mattress. There are foam dealios you can purchase to fill the space but it's expensive. I took a bolster from on old bedding set and squeezed it down in there so the pillows don't fall in at night. I think your bolsters would look so pretty; I'm definitely going to try that. I hope one day you'll share some of your portfolio with us. I bet you've made some happy clients!

Its all about personal preference. Lady herself, gets my vote! ❤ One thing I'd like to add, dont let Hotel Pillows fool you for purchase. It did me some yrs ago. Nothing, and I mean Nothing, like them. I'm back from my "get away" so here I am now! 🥰

My new puppy Benji (only 6 months old) looks so like yours I did a double take. He sleeps with me as well. Your good video was made GREAT the moment I saw your pup. So nice to know you are not so serious about decor that your pup is forbidden. Mine even has color coordinated steps so he can choose where he wants to nap. I use all your tips, thank you very much, in pink and grey in various textures, saturation, and accent colors. Love that you illustrate your tips. ❤

@@happiestplace They were a gift 5 or so years ago. My friend got it for her very senior Aussie who refused to even try to use it, so my little liver Shih Tzu TinkerToy got the benefit. I lost him last Christmas and I was so depressed I thought I’d never get out of bed. My friends urged me to foster but I found Benji from a breeder online and, after checking around I knew he’d be a perfect heart healer - very different from Tink, which is what I wanted, and a total character. Back to your question LOL. I’ll ask Cindi if she recalls where she ordered it. It’s a good one - removable washable cover, lightweight yet very strong. She could certainly gives me a few hints.

Oh my goodness, I make bolsters for my dogs bed with his blankets, but never thought about it for our own bed. Plus, my husband and I sleep best in different temps, so that could solve that issue too!

May I ask you a question, please? I mostly decorate traditional….with splashes of family heirlooms. Recently I found a set of 14 Culver glasses (soooo beautiful) that look amazing on my black metal bar cart. Is it “weird” to throw in one or two items that just don’t fit? These glasses are very 60s….with their royal blue and emerald green and 22K gold trim. Would deeply appreciate your expertise. (Wish I could show you a picture….)

Grab the top two corners with one hand hold onto the duvet cover with the free hand and plunge it to the top (not the opening) open those corners to the edges… then grab other two corners & thrust to the opening corners …hope it works for u!

Could you create a video showing a bedroom with a strong accent wall and how to dress the bed? Some of the bedding I see is either too much or too little. A dilemma.

I don’t like the way the big duvet sits at the end of the bed. It’s so high up you hardly see the front of the bed.and I prefer creamy colors to white pillowcases in my opinion it doesn’t look as stark although I do layer with a white quilt

Wait. What? You found your bedding at the grocery store? How lucky is that? The best accessory is a cute doggie. So, no bed skirts? I'm a fan of scalloped edges on shams and layers of quilts but I also like my vintage bedskirt; not luxurious but lovely nonetheless.

Hahaha! It works if it’s a small sprinkling…but sometimes it’s a blizzard of cilantro on top of a dish and it’s rough. I’m glad you can stick with me. 😀
