Two years ago my husband built me a farmhouse bed I did the destressing on it. It has a headboard and footboard and it's a high bed. The rails are very wide connecting the headboard and footboard . He bought latches for the side rails .It has a center rail for support and adjustable center legs for supports if you have carpet or hard wood floors.I truly wish I could send a picture the post are 4×4 and wide tongue and groove for the headboard and footboard with wide trim over the top .Their is a store in TN that wanted my husband to build them. Even in our move to TN the bed is the same. Very well built it will last forever. My Christmas decorations along with the bedding and Garland on the headboard is adorable. Sorry but I love my bed he built me. It's nice to know it's not particle broad like most beds. Your bed looks good and fresh .

Well now we all know you are just as pretty first thing in the morning, even without makeup! Super jealous! 🙃 Can’t wait to see the finished room! I also like sheets that won’t make me feel like I’m going to self combust!

Love the headboard...the frame around it really made a difference. Looking forward to see what you do with the rest of the room.

You could put on a fitted sheet on you box spring so it matches your sheets.

Nice transformation on the headboard, I like the wood frame detail. Bedding looks super comfortable and I'm sure a quality nights sleep, a bit out of my price range though. Looking forward to the room painted and the rest of the details, the paint samples are pretty.

Love the headboard. Applying Scotchguard to the fabric would help keep it clean.

My husband's head does the same , that's why I have iron headboards ,no fabric . Looks great .

You should make a nightstand to hold your husband's cpap machine with a slide out shelf. I have wanted to make something like that forever, but I don't know where to start

That’s one of the reasons I went with a darker fabric. Hopefully it will help!

That´s really pretty! If you want to protect the new headboard from stains, there are non toxic wax you can use.

The bedding is Brooklinen. The actually bed was built by me.

You actually look prettier without makeup. Jealous!

I'd be afraid of getting glue or spray adhesive or stain on my carpet.

Luckily the spray from the glue was very contained and I didn’t use much at all
