My whole Air Force career, we lived my the idea of three Fs. Form, Fit, Function. Your work, everything I've seen over the last few years, use the idea to a tee. Great vid, as always.
Laura‘s friends: „Hey, let’s go an a week long camping trip“. Laura: Packs gear to survive a major catastrophe.

That's because there have been floods on one side of Koln and an explosion on the other side. There's no telling what's next, but when it happens she'll be ready and have lots of people lining up to be her new best friends.

Have you seen the flooding in Germany lately? The rules dictate that - even if you're going for a day hike, pack enough to survive for 3 days. Going on a camping weekend? Pack enough to survive for 2 weeks.

@@paulgrieger8182 I am German. And I also tend to pack twice the amount of stuff than I need. But I have more lightweight stuff and not as robust than Laura‘s cases.
The bungee cord removable shelf is brilliant.

If I was doing that I would have put small finger holes on the shelf to be able to lift it up, maybe something to 'lock' it in place. I would not have built a big handle in the middle. It takes up space & limits what the top half can be used for. I def would not have put bungee cords on it. I agree with her about everyone making their own to suit their needs. This is how she wanted hers. Cool.

I customized an IKEA RASSLA hanging storage, it’s flexible.
Cool ideas. One tip, put a strip of leather between the two sides of the axe sheath on the edge where the sharpened edge off the axe is. That way the axe won't slip between the two pieces and cut the thread, it will hit the strip of leather instead.

You just brought "thinking outside the box" a little bit further. Unexpected, like always. ¡¡PURA VIDA!!

laura reminds me of that one kid in art class who always comes up with something totally out of the box or something different. like whenever theres a new assignment, shes already thinking ahead. always an inspiration!
I am constantly amazed at your endless talent. You are young to be called a master crafts person but your talent seems endless. Looking forward to next video. Have a great camper trip.
I loved your solution for mounting the ax and shovel. You always incorporate a diversity of methods and media in your builds - there's something for everyone! Hervorragende arbeit, Laura!
Awesome, always thinking outside the box!

Brilliant!!!!!! really cool!!!!
Very clever solutions. You always brighten my day.
Good job Laura well done
As always great job and ideas.
love it
In the UK our food delivery companies use stacking plastic trays. Because they're so modular and shallow it's easier to put gear in those and keep camp tidy. I have one heavy duty plastic box (which also stacks!) Which is relatively critter proof (the squirrels can be a menace with breaded products). My axe and saw are always both stored inside a box to keep it safe from kids and stop it getting wet.
Incredible idea!!!!!!
cool! great Ideas, love it!
love that paracord tray idea!
Very creative, as usual. Have fun on the trip. Thanks for the video.

Youre a visionary. What I wouldn't give to spend a week in your shop with you, my goodness.
Nice job, LK. Classic design using elements of metal-, wood-, and leather-working.
Oh I love me some good storage box videos! My favorite is the one where the two old TV-carpenters dissect their awesome "anarchists toolbox". Great stuff
Lots of cool ideas, as usual. And plenty of thinking outside the box (and on top of the box, and inside the box). I did appreciate how the roll of duct (gaff?) tape gets secured with the tools. 😀 Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely love your organizational skills. Beautiful work
So, so talented👍🏻👏🏻
Cool ideas, super talent.

What's a camping trip for Laura without her pink tape! Classic! Love it!

Great video, and fantastic storage ideas. But OMG, those boxes are so expensive, I almost cried a little when you started drilling holes in it. But they’re meant to be used, and you’re making good use out of yours. Have a fantastic trip, and bring back lots of memories.
Wow Laura, such a perfect example of how to maximize space! Lots of love from Australia xxoo, have fun on your camping trip, Sweden will be amazing :)

Awesome build as always. Great tips. And welcome to Sweden.
Great tips Laura! If I may add to your tips; I bet a lot of people don't know that closed-head pop-rivets are a thing. They can help a lot when you need a waterproof fastener.
nice vlog Laura
Zarges should sell LAURA KAMPF case modification kits!😀
Thanks a lot, terrific job!!! YO
Hey Laura. cool build! i love all of your innovative ides! we all stray to get better so i just want to come with an Pro tips from an former leather worker: When you do your stitching (in Sweden we call it shomakersseme(Skomakarsömm) you should cross the needles in the hole to make sure you dont hit the stitch from before. You can also use a edge iron to make a shallow channel for the stitching to sit in to make it look more neat. When you do markings in leather you should wet the leather before to make it more permanent. Keep up the good work! regards from a Swedish DIY believer
