Digital technology needs to be open to everybody. It is not something to be applied in the future but today.
Pretty much all you need to know about Digital Inclusion via accessible content in a nutshell. Includes advice for a wide spectrum of disabilities. It should be just enough to guide people towards finding out more. Nice.

Apart from all the egregious popping noises which are very annoying for some people who are neurodiverse, this is very helpful.

Hi Denny - apologies for the delay responding. Yes, captions should be on by default, and there is a transcript - both a full transcript with visual descriptions, and a transcript of the speech alone. The audio is the core content Transcripts are available at the following link www.citizensonline.org.uk/accessibility-tips/
Hi, could you include a transcript with this video please? The transcript is needed for screen readers. Thanks,

Hi, there is a transcript on our website, as mentioned in the description: www.citizensonline.org.uk/accessibilitytips (I'm afraid that our website is briefly down at the moment, but the transcript will be up as soon as the whole website is - before the end of the month)
60%, where did you get this number? Most numbers I see are closer to 20% ...

+Fix the Web thank you! I've seen a few videos saying that's the rate of people who claim being disabled, at least in the States
@CitizensOnline
8 жыл бұрын
Nate Scarritt yes, in the UK he estimate for disabled people is about 15% of the population - the larger number is essentially about milder impairments - visual, dexterity, or hearing - often associated with aging.

The guitar music is too loud to hear the voice. It is the auditory equivalent of text on a busy background.

Apologies - we believed we used advice about the decibel difference between background music and voice - but will look into uploading a version without music to solve this problem.
