I really enjoyed this tutorial. It’s my first ever tutorial as have taught myself so far. I have so much to learn and although I had to go slowly, I managed to do all the steps until I got to the last bit where I just couldn’t get the other menu to come back at point 9.53…I tried everything but couldn’t get the auxiliary thingy up with the instruments. So frustrating as I got the beats, melody, dynamics and chords so thank you. I will have to practice these steps again anyway so I don’t forget. I’m used to doing thing very differently and don’t know the short cuts so I find alternative ways but I’ve never created a beat from scratch. You’re a very good teacher but can you always say and show what to click on when coming out of something/moving onto the next step..you did with most things 😊😊😊Thanks again! Great content ❤

Thank you for making these videos and uploading your knowledge bud, I'll be honest I have no knowledge in music production, all I know is I've always been interested and have a deep love for House and Garage music and have had Technics 1210s so I understand the principles of music from the DJ mixing perspective but that's about it . I'm seriously thinking about taking the plunge as I've always been the goto person in my circle of friends for music as I do have an ear for a good tune, I was part of the raving scene in the UK during the 90s which I believe was the best era for House and Garage in the UK although the amount of producers going back to that 90s flavours is increasing. I've always had music swirling around my head but never had the knowledge to do anything with it. I can't read or write music and do not play any instruments which I'm presuming is going to be a bit of a hindrance but I guess this is the same as most things in life, the more you practice, the easier it gets but I'm under no illusions that I've got a long and probably a bit of an expensive road ahead. Looks like I'll be investing in a mac first though lol. Thanks again for taking the time to share your knowledge mate. Enjoy the rest of your week bud.

I don't have a keyboard yet, all I have is my laptop, and I can no longer use my keys to play the piano when im trying to create something. Is there a way around this, or am I gonna have to get a keyboard now?

I use a 2020 macbook pro, is there a reason my quickkeys are not the same? K is not the metronome, c doesnt enable the cycle loop, etc. I also am using the older Logic Pro NOT logic pro X. Is that the reason?

So I got a question, whenever I repeat the midi region for the drum kit it doesn’t copy the instrument in that drum kit, it just copies the the region with no noise, how do I get past that?

i don't have the preset Droplet Harp in my library, how can i have it ?

Drum Machine Designer does not appear either... DMD? Did they change that on the recent release?

When I try to quantize the snares it quantizes the kick too, how do I fix this?

When I record the snare, it doesn’t joined it to the one track. It creates another DMD track for the snare. And it turns my met sound off and the output just plays something far different or none at all. 😢

Nothing happened when I hit Q. No quantize bar popped up. I’ve noticed that’s happened with a few prompts I’ve tried.

I can’t create a pattern region. 3:00 I can’t get the automatic steps in the step editor for the hi-hats 😢
