Make Quick and Easy Leather Cuffs (with Pattern!)
The lether cuff is making a comeback, so we had to make up our own version using some beautiful chrome tanned leather from our sponsor Buckleguy as thye just released the most perfect, comfy leather for these cuffs. Whether you're a former (or current, respect) punk rock millenial or just looking for a simple cuff pattern that can be sized and looks a bit more high end than the standard straps, we tried to make our cuff pattern nice to look at in any scenario. Enjoy!

Thank you for all your videos. You are the first Leathercraft person I came across. I enjoy the vids and your instruction. I hope to be starting in the craft soon myself. Building up the education with the help of makers like you. Thank you again!!!

8:00 A tip picked up from Chuck Dorsett, instead of punching through with brute force give the punch a twist as you squeeze, lets it cut through instead of just plowing through the leather.

First off, thanks for the video. I've been subscribed to your channel for almost 5 years now. It all started back when you were ASMR and I was hooked. Your channel was instrumental in helping me learn the craft. Sadly, I've recently discovered that I'm watching fewer videos on your channel because it now seems like a big commercial for Buckle Guy, formerly Weaver. Maybe I'm feeling nostalgic, but I really do miss the old days. Nevertheless, I still wish you continued success.

Your cuff design didn’t seem 1990s. It looks like 1970s. But the “flappies and strappies” at the end was priceless.

I mean, Buckleguy has the best brass hardware I've used so I don't mind if you do "sell out" 🤷🏻‍♂️ Weavers stuff still has casting lines and isn't usually solid brass

It's not "selling out" if these are products they use themselves. He continues to mention Weavers as he uses them, regardless of sponsorship. And where brand name matters to products, he explains why and mentions the product so you can shop for it on your own. Sponsorships that are transparent and honest are not a problem. I like watching these at no cost, so I figure watching some advertising is the price I pay. Nothing forces me to buy anything.

I agree. I like the Weaver videos and their catalog. But the Buckleguy hardware is just outstanding. Worth it. And I don't think there is any ambiguity in these videos. No sneaky stuff.

I just bought the pattern. But I can imagin that the first question that I will get is: what are the rings for ? …. Is this just for decoration ? I find it a bit too much for my liking

Hi! I am looking for someone to make some wide leather cuffs for me. I am disabled due to airbags exploding my arms. My right wrist is 6 inches round and the cuff I use now is 2 inches in width. It would also need 2 straps to tighten due to needed stability of my right wrist. I wish I could make some but physically unable. Thank you!
