I made unsweetened ice cream for one: 1 cup light cream .5 cup whole milk once it’s thickening - pour in 1/2 tsp vodka + 1 tsp vanilla (or whatever flavor you'd like). Doesn't freeze well without the sugar, so enjoy immediately!
On another video it’s 1 cup of milk, 3/4 c sugar 2 cups of heavy whipping cream 1 tb spoon of vanilla extract A pinch of salt Mix sugar and milk first Then heavy whipping cream, then vanilla and pinch of salt Put in fridge for about 1 hour then put in your ice cream maker machine. Good luck y’all!

Wow, yours is a lot quieter than mine . I make quickie frozen yogurt with one container of 0% fat Greek yogurt, 2/3 cup half and half, 2/3 cup brown sugar, and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

This recipe is for a regular sized ice cream maker, you'll have too much and it will overflow if too much poured in. 1.5 qt 1/2 and 1/2, 4 eggs, 1 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon of Vanilla.
Mine was super quick but a lot if the ice cream got stuck on the sides and the bottom. Is so frozen is hard to take if off. Do you have to wait until it melts?
good tips, not the obvious stuff that people spout off mindlessly ... this should almost go without saying, so I won't give it a number, use heavy cream, don't use milk!! -- and no, half-and-half and table cream are not close enough... 1. Every minute & degree counts! 2. freeze bowl 12 hrs, in the coldest freezer in your house 3. mix whatever ingredients together and you can ahead of time (I use a blender) and refrigerate it for 12 hours 4. take out Bowl, ingredients, and begin churning immediately 5. after 30 minutes you should have soft serve, if you want it harder/colder, Freeze for additional 3 hours enjoy!

You said the bowl, and the arm (mechanism inside the bowl) both move in opposite directions. How is that possible? I see the bowl moving but I don't think the plastic arm inside moves at all. What is causing the arm to move?

He's referring to Physical Science class in high school. When one is spinning one way, technically, the other is spinning in the opposite direction. We, the observer, only perceive one to be spinning, not the other. If we could shrink down, sit on top of the paddle in the center, and have the whole thing happening in a dark room where the bowl and the paddle were both lit up somehow, and were the only things that could be seen, we wouldn't know if it was the paddle spinning or the bowl spinning, or both. We would get very dizzy though. Anyway, all that said, basically, for our normal, daily purposes, only the bowl spins in this mechanism. The paddles remain perfectly still.

Only the bowl moves.
That was not really thick but loose. I would have left the bowl in the freezer overnight. The ice cream was too melted for me. I saw a lot of milk at the bottom of that bowl, I would have made a milkshake instead.

Heavy Whipping Cream usually found next to Half and Half at the store in milk section
