I saw Jim O’Rourke open for Stereolab once and it was so amazing them coming together for the finale. One of my favorite live shows I have ever been to. Now that I got back into synths during covid times I am going back and revisiting music like that with a different interest.

The SK1 was the first synthesizer I ever touched and played. It catalyzed my present interest in synths and that first few hours playing around on it created a lifetime love with sound and music. I love Make Noise and Tony’s contribution to the community.

I had a hazy dream I saw Tony play at a benefit for a skate park.. and you were there, and you, and you. It was one of the most amazingly unique and super dope musical experiences I’ve witnessed. 23:27 Like watching a chrysalis of sound break open in fractal waveforms. I woke up with a rainbow paper wristband, which I kept to remind me of that place between dreams and waking.

this rig reminds me of a dj deck somehow , 2 morphagenes into 2 filters with 2 maths going into an echo , that's pretty rad :)

Awesome interview. Fess is always awesome, and it's cool to hear how Tony mutated his influences into some of the funnest modules around. I'd love for him to swap those blanks for other manufacturers' modules - Mannequins? MI? NLC?

We should make and drop lots of lysergic and patch ourselves up to the real system of living And then patch the modular (Ah shucks, I was sleep messaging again , sorry about that) And now that I really see your comment , wtf are you on about ? And I mean you , since my comment was cool

To be honest, I have never heard a Strega sound I liked. It just makes bad, unusable sounds. I do like the Morphagene and the effects of the Shared System though.
