Here is the deal, we are gonna see what chistatan is gonna say because Christian doesnt know what hes gonna say and were gonna find out right now. K its lunch time so Christian is gonna have salmon,rice right after he takes his cold shower becuase it was like 80 degrees outside while he was skating all and now he is tired and he wants to have some salmon rice and maybe some juice. Juice that is strawberry juice because my mom made strawberry juice and its delicious and I love it. Thank you mom I love you. The thing is... shoe goe really helps a lot. It doesn't have to look that wacky if you're careful

its just super glue! a drop of super glue on each stitch before you skate your shoes keeps your shoes together even after your wear the stitch away if you applied it correctly it will hold the panels together still. Gorilla Glue Super Glue has the best Application bottle with the hard case and 2 squeeze panels on the sides, best super glue applicator IMO!

I add super glue on my stitches when I get them, it’s not that noticeable and it really helps...by the way great vids keep up the amazing work!!!

Hey Christian, I’m telling you, soaking some super glue into your lace makes them UNBREAKABLE, they practically turn into carbon fibre after some use.

Agreed. I've posted this before too. You put a little super glue on the lace where it normally gets ripped. Just enough to allow it to soak into the lace. When it hardens, which is like 2 minutes later, the shoelace will last for the life of the shoe. I also use super glue on leather. Once the stitches start to come out and the leather begins to detach from one another, glue the underside of the loose piece and you don't have a gooey shoe. Just leather on leather. Blowing a hole through the leather, well that's a different story (shoe goo), but I normally just get a new pair.

I do a few layers of Krazy Glue on my stitches before I skate the shoe. I end up having to use shoe goo when I get actual holes forming though.

Ideas: Use green tape to mask off the areas to be glued. CA Glue will work well. But the holy grail is when some skateboard shoe company decides to use "Spectra Fiber" aka "Stren" for the vulnerable stitches... That stuff is hard to cut with cutting tools.

Quick questions are kickflips the eater of shoes? Ive been skating in nike blazers for two months and everything was fine until i started to learn and do kickflips then it started to eat my shoe. after two weeks of doing kick flips the front rubber toe cap is basically gone and they dont sell shoe goo here in ireland so it’s pretty hard to fix

I think the shoe drops will help extend the life of laces and seams but it doesn't solve the problem of the outsole wearing out, which is the part of the shoe that grips the board during ollies and flip tricks. That's what makes Shoe Goo great; it gives added layers to the outsole so it will outlast the the sole of the shoe. The problem with Shoe Goo is the grip it provides is fleeting, at the end of 1 session the applied area gets smooth and loses it's grippiness.

Where you buy those shoegoos

You need to skate/review dunks! I've seen you review other SB models but dunks

I got you. You can use this for that. I noticed that too. I need to put some on that part of my shoe.

This might be a nitpick, but liquid glue that hardens can really affect your flick (it lessens it). If you want to replace shoe goo or hot glue, then the flick has to be on par.

you put the glue where your ollie mark is or switch ollie i should say, you only have wear on the toe of the shoe, kinda hard to determine if the glue worked good for kickflips

I'm a bowl/transition skater. I rarely do any flip tricks. That being said, the wear and tear on my shoes comes from the bottom of the sole, more towards the big toe area. I can skate shoes for 6+ months, and the only tear will be on the bottoms. I've tried lots of things to fix them, but have yet to find anything that works. Anyone have any tips?

Guilty, I usually use gorilla glue, I don’t cake it on but it’s better than grip tape shredding my socks or sanding down the tip of my toe(s).

I searched for armor barrel ... and ended up watching two guns firing straight down the barrel of the other gun. LOL wtf... Also, I am interested to hear what you think about those 'new' Vans and their durability compared to the 'old' Vans series of basically the same shoes hahaha. Lol, maybe?? I have applied superglue to my shoes before and it made the spot rock solid. As well, whenever the area it was applied to gets braised, there would be small scratch marks, but it did not go through. However, i outgrew those shoes and didnt see it to the end

You don’t need to put that much glue on the stitches! Just a tiny drop that sinks in to the treads. Refine your technique and your stitches won’t look like a shoe goo mess. Chers! :-)
