🥳The inauguration of the Inukjuak skatepark took place on Saturday, August 20 during an opening celebration with a visit of skateboarder Joe Buffalo of Samson Cree Nation (Alberta). The skatepark is the initiative of Caroline Gleason who set up this project for several months with a partnership of several organizations in the village of Inukjuak. It was built by Make Life Skate Life organization that was present at the inauguration. It should be noted that the building materials come from the new hydroelectric dam with the help of CRT.🥳
