I'm glad someone noticed! The name (and the bag label) is in honor of the track House Nation by The House Master Boyz and The Rude Boy of House. It's one of my favorite House tracks!

I'm surprised to hear that other reviews don't mention the Bloom switch. It a cool little functionality that helps to mimic a great hand-brew method. Thanks for watching!

The Bloom feature means that the brewer dispenses a "preinfusion" amount of water on the coffee, then pauses for about 30 seconds to allow the coffee to "bloom", and then starts up again to complete the brew. Hope that clarifies it and thanks for watching!

Do anyone use a percolator ?

In the world of specialty coffee, percolators seem to be frowned upon. The recirculation of the brewing liquid can result in over extracted coffee. We used one in our Cowboy Coffee video and the results were just okay. I'm working on a video that I think will result in better percolated coffee but that won't come out for several more weeks. kzread.info/dash/bejne/i5t4mseBnJjfkco.html

Pretty much a copy of the Redline coffee maker.

@@onocoffee It would be fine if they performed like Tehcnivorm, or even close. I'm getting the Bonavita, because I can't see spending $350 on a Technivorm coffee maker nor do I want something that is junky. Bonivata is just right.
