Make Ford Key - Lost Keys - FO38 Lishi SECRETS
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Have you lost all the keys to your Ford and wondering how the heck a locksmith makes them from thin air?
Many people might assume with have some kind of magic putty that we stick into the ignition and boom, we make a key.
The process is actually quite simple when you have one of my very favorite tools, the lishi tool.
For this video I break down how to use a FO38 lishi tool.
First you want to prep the lock with some lubrication. Run a key blank through the cylinder to break up any dust or foreign particles.
Next insert your lishi tool into the door. Begin checking each space for stiffness.
I always like the saying, "if she is stiff, then she is ready to be picked" referring to the wafers.
When you feel stiffness, begin to push the wafer until it clicks. You know you correctly picked it when the wafer becomes springy.
After all the wafers are springy the cylinder should rotate and allow you to decode.
Take the needle of the tools and go through each space pushing it past springy point. Whatever depth it stops on, write it down.
Now on Fords, only 6/8 cuts will be in the door. You will needs a code source database to give the possibilities for the last 2 cuts which are used in the ignition.
Begin cutting the keys until you have a working one.
This video is for education purposes only. Thank you for watching and please tell me any feedback down in the comments.

Ok you have made my mind up for me I’m definitely going to try car key cutting coding etc, I’ve absolutely no experience and I’m getting on in life 60 now 😎 need to have a go at something new to work at, you made that look so easy. Thanks buddy from Edinburgh Scotland 🏴

Great video , nicely explained. Thank you for sharing.
Just wanted to say a big thank you! I watched a couple other videos on this to try and decode my F350 lock to no avail. None of the other videos talk about using a blank to reset the lock first...duh! Was out here for 45 minutes with no luck watched your video had it open on both sides and decided In under 5 minutes. Cheers!
That’s a dope key cutting machine! I’ve never seen a small digital one like that…
great camera work. Thank you for this video
That looked like the easiest lishi pick ever lol. nice video man
Great video 😊 TY.
Dude solid video. I just got my FO38 lishi along with a HON66 and HU100 since I cut and program alot of those.

The FO38 lishi can be difficult to decode with at times. HON66 is difficult to pick but easy to decode. HU100 is one my favorites.

@@CaptainLockPick I used the HU100 for a 2019 Silverado and it worked perfect in the door but would not work in the ignition. When I decoded the door I just autofilled the rest on AutoCode and it only came back with one option plus the customer said it was just one key. Is this some sort of electronic issue? I did wiggle the steering wheel and the shifter but nothing….
Thankyou for explaining how to use the Lishi to cut a key. I will need to buy them and practice on vehicles.
Great Vid! Thanks
Awesome!P.S. I know that this may sound weird lol, but I love the noises the Xhorse Condor Mini makes.

Nice video. I love how your camera films. Lishiwise, Sometimes i use this and neither does it spring nor is it firm. I don't know why it does that but it confuses me a lot. I end up wondering if it is the lock or me. All my locks are removed at the junkyard; most of them come keyless. I take them home to practice and make keys for them. I have hard a hard time with HU101 and this Fo38 used on an 05 Mustang. I am still not able to pick the lock.
Nice
Thanks
i watched alot of videos on the Hu66 kwik decoder and Lishi FO38 lishi what other vehicle do they open do the open like chevy ford and so on thanks
Looking professional means more professional prices. Instead Of selling car open ups I sell door keys. The programmed ignition key and/or remote is the upsell.
How many lishi versions are there? Which is best for padlocks and house keys in UK?
thanks
Thank you for the information #Billingslocksmith
Is there a combo pack that contains all lishi for domestic vehicles. I currently use an air wedge but I am trying to learn automotive keys I only do residential work so what would you recommend as starter tools.
Great video I have that machine as well I love it the machine also has the option to find biting I’ve used it and it’s just as good as those code websites
@CaptainLockPick

I use that feature all the time too. Idk if I’d say it’s just as good as code websites. Sometimes I get more results on code websites. Plus you can’t do half cuts on it. Say your lishi tool reads a space as a possible 2 or 3 depth, you have to choose one or the other. Unlike other code softwares

I've got multiple Ford's over the years and it looks like it would be a handy tool to have around. Right now I have a 95 Bronco with no key to the back tailgate. I am betting with the tool like that I can figure out how to hand file a new key myself. Why??? Just because it's a challenge lol.

Your Bronco's H67 key may look very similar to the H75, but it has 10 spaces instead of 8. It is a completely different system.
How much do you charge around for this service if I can ask I’m sure distance has to do with it aswell .
Hi. I lost all my 1995 Volvo 850 keys, can't open the door nor start it. Tried to order spares from the local agent but have no reply. Can I use the lishi keys? Thanks

I'm liking the Lishi tools! Question for you. I have a 1967 Mustang GT Fastback that I've owned for 40+ years. I've hauled that car all over the country when I moved hoping to be able to build a hot rod. The time has finally come, but I can't find the keys. Does Lishi make a tool for a 67 Mustang trunk lock? I know the trunk is a mirror image key from the ignition key (which I also can't find). I just need to get into the trunk. Thanks for any info you have.

I also have a 1967 fastback s code that I have had since I was in highschool and I am also a locksmith. Lishi does have a tool for the older ford ignition and door but your best bet is to probably just get a new ignition and door locks from year one or mustangs plus ect...

I apologize but come on bro. It's Obvious that depends on rather the car uses a transponder or not. If it does not use one yes this will turn it over. But it has to be a lishi that works on doors and ignition. Some don't work on ignition because there are different ignition types.
@magenlin

@@segounlocks5029 okay thank you I appreciate your time and you going out of your way to actually give a real and helpful answer. But now let me ask you how it supposed to be so obvious that the answer is "it depends" that's probably the least obvious answer for something that there possibly could be because obviously it will work this way in some instances if you think of it like that but obviously it will not work because of whatever in that situation but for future reference when somebody is just asking a legitimate question in an honest hope to just learn something they didn't know before coming off like a dick and helps nobody to say "it's obvious" or what do you think but we've gotten past that so thank you again

@@magenlin Because you will be hard-pressed to find a car in the last 20 years that doesn't take a chip. And if it does then it's obvious turning the ignition over won't work. So the only cars that would are cars before 2003 roughly. So I assume someone watching videos on lock picking would know that. Every time I get a customer with an old car they always mention no chip in hopes of saving money. And when you say the words key blank and transponder I think to myself. How could this man know these terms and not know rather a car has one or not? That's why I asked what do you think? Assuming you could answer your own question.

I’m not sure if there’s something wrong with my lishi, but every time I use a F038 I’m successful in picking the door lock and I manage to decode the key for the ignition, but the key doesn’t match the door for some reason. Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong?
@CaptainLockPick

Does this happen on every Ford? I would try on a Ford that you already have the keys for. Pick the lock, decode it, and see if your cuts match with the existing key. Sometimes if you fail to decode the lock to 100%, it will only work in the door and not the ignition or vice versa.

Most door locks don't use that many wafers , but the ignition does. most all fords only use the 6 which are the same up and down, so only 3 cuts per side not 4 , for a total of 8 cuts,, simple math.

Hello; send to me too; Address ; or the link; I want to buy this key too; topolino, decoder; please
Nice video .. I will say it may be impressive to open a car with it .. but you will need a lot Of them . I have open thousands of cars with air bags and never hurt any .. just have to be careful and use 2 air bags on at the top and side air they up aT same time to open door just the size of a half of a penny size .. 2 air bags will open it more evenly.. it’s not natural to open it just in the side it add pressure to one spot only ! Just a little tip For what impressed me if someone came out and I own had a BMW or Mercedes very nice car would impress the owners for sure !

I think that is nonsense some cars a better picked than force entry. Been doing it for years also and recently switched to to non intrusive. That air Bag also cannot decode the lock.
Does he not sound like the “personal space” guy from Rick n morty?
Time is $ Slap in a wedge, and use the door tool to open the door. And the job is done and you're out of there money in hand. Or do that, and take their key and make them another one, if they want it, which is a lot faster than decoding, and then paying a third party for KEY cut code access . Which saves you money, and put more money in your pocket . Just saying
the "genuinelishi is the fake one... assembly quality is pretty bad compared to real original
