Before I pressed play on this video and I found out you already had your own subtitles instead of your voice. I opened settings to turn on close caption. I was half asleep when was doing this and unknowingly I changed YT playback speed to half speed. With the subtitles, this went unnoticed. I had my nice closed reference headphones on that used for adding minute changes to eq when mixing or for getting baseline when applying dynamics to a project when I am mastering. Then the music on the video starts taking shape and I immediately woke up. I was like that sounds insane(good way). It was like someone screwed(n not chopped) and reggae song. Eventually the slight phase distortion from the time streching made me realize my settings were wacky. I definitely got some inspiration though..When I'm not writting essay length comments on people's vids, I have been experimenting with screwing occasionally chopping some dub reggae records of mine and others..Thanks for your content.
