This does not make the entire door bullet resistant - only the clear glass and immediate surrounding frame portion, which is the most vulnerable part.
If you are looking for a rated door (all parts of the door system are rated as bullet resistant) you can contact us, as we have fully rated options as well.

I will be building an ICF house and want bullet resistant glass for the windows.
Can you retrofit this system on existing storefront with level 7 or 8?

Yes, we can add a level 7 to an existing storefront but the doors will be level 3 due to weight and thickness of the glass. If you want level 7 or 8 on everything including the door, you will need to replace the entire storefront.

How does it do vs rifle rounds like 5.56 or 7.62?

This particular system can go up to Level 3 (44 mag). Rifle rounds require complete door replacement with a level 7 or 8 rating. Great option if the budget allows.

I just made a comment on this I shouldn't have because you answered it. So essentially the door is a level 3A like the police wear soft body armor up to .44 mag
What if u move can it be taken down and reapplied to new house/windows?

This is generally for commercial doors and windows. Most homes do not have framing conducive to this application.

@@KLuis-rq6hf We specialize inn retrofit framing for commercial-type framing. If you are building a new home, you may look into companies that make residential-type windows that are FE or BR rated.
