I could watch Jenny all day long. The camera just loves her. Such a great teacher. She was the first quilter who made me believe I could do this. It was the one where she races to sew the jelly roll together that got me.
The blue and white always looks fresh . Thank you . 😘👍🇨🇦🌈
I'm glad you pointed out and gave info regarding the pinked edges.

I did not know about the pinked edges. Love them still. Thank you Dear Jenny! ❤️
Love this pattern and the fabric it is made with!! Right now I'm working on last week's tutorial on the 'Whimsical Shoofly' quilt - those blocks go together amazingly fast. Thank you for all your tutorials, Jenny! Love each one :)!
Nothing beats blue and white for beautiful. I am now making a variant of this pattern in blue grays. I am backing in gray with green batik oak leaves tumbling in the wind. I love quilting!

Oh that sounds beautiful! We would love to see a picture of your creation!
I see something pretty I can make with my odds and ends charm packs and super simple too! Yay!
WOW ! What a beautiful quilt ! »Thank you for this demonstration !
I love blue and white quilts!! Big fan of your tutorials Jenny!!
I used this pattern from this tutorial to make my first quilt. I used clothes that were my mother in laws. For the sashing I used her jeans. It turned out so well. I would not have had the courage to do this without watching these videos. I also followed the machine binding tutorial to bind the quilt. Thank you so much for these wonderful tutorials. I am so grateful.
Gorgeous! Another fantastic tutorial! I also really appreciate the info about the pinked edges and how each pre-cut can be slightly different.
I learn something I didn't know from all your videos I watch. Thank You so much!
I love to watch your videos Jenny and I love this quilt as blue is my favorite color! I have learned so much from watching your videos, so thank you, Jenny!
I totally love this quilt.. I've had some lovely fabric for ages but couldn't decide what quilt to make...Jenny thank you so much so glad I looked back thru your tutorials & saw this one ...I am starting this tonight..xx
I recently finished making this exact purple and lavender quilt except I attached a wider border. Loads of fun to make. Thank you for your tutorials
I'm a beginner quilter teaching myself so I really enjoy your videos they are super helpful and easy to follow.
Just beautiful! I love blues and the fabric for the backing! Thanks Jenny!

Glad you like this color combination as well Tanya!
Also, thank you for clarifying the measurement with pinked edge. I am learning to quilt and have been including the pinking in my quarter inch seams. Now I can do it correctly!
Jenny, I love your tutorials! They are so simple and enjoyable to watch. And I think the best part is you! I always feel as though I'm sitting down with a dear old friend who's going to show me what she's been up to lately. Every tutorial is a warm hug!

Love this pattern! Thank you so much, Jenny, for such awesome patterns, which you explain so well, and giving me the ability to create masterpieces that will be treasured for years!! 💜
i Made this quilt for my Daughter-in-law this summer, it turned out beautiful, and your tutorial made it easy. Thanks for all your tutorials!
Love, Love, Love this quilt! It will be the very first quilt I make very soon now. Absolutely beautiful and easy!
Thanks for another fun and easy quilt, Jenny! I do love the blue and white!!
This is just what I was looking for! Thanks so much. Your creations are always so beautiful.
I made this awhile ago. It was one of the first quilts I made and did FMQ on it. I saw on Sew very Easy how to use a C arc and echo, and just keep going. I used the beautiful earthly paradise of William Morris prints. Just gorgeous, and it's nice because I didn't have to cut up the charms squares and diminish the prints. Thanks-You Jenny... Sometimes easy is better for the fabric!!
First of all, you, Jenny, are the best quilting teacher ever! You speak clearly, you don't mumble, or whisper - everything is just perfect. Plus, your sense of humor is a hoot! Okay, one question: I've been quilting for about 35 years, most of them for family, etc., but now I'd like to make an oversized king quilt for us, and I'm thinking of using Layer Cakes instead of Charm Packs. How many cakes do you think I would need? I'm sure I could figure it out, but I needed to write to you anyway, telling you how much I've enjoyed your tutorials. Thanks so much.
I ordered this ruler and wonder how I ever lived without it!! So easy to handle and, since I love using charm packs, it is just perfect. Bought one for a quilting friend, too.

So glad you are enjoying it, Lynn. It really does make cutting those charm packs so much easier. :)
If I'm not mistaken, I think you can chain piece the 5 in. squares to the 21/2 in. strips then cut them apart the same way as the falling charms quilt. I finished the falling charms quilt yesterday and I love it!
This DOES look super simple! I'm eager to give this a try as my first quilt project. It might be great for using up scraps as well! Thanks for a great tutorial. I'll definitely give it a shot.
Seems like a good way to get rid of charm packs in my stash. Love this quilt!
This is exactly what I did to make eye spy quilts for my 2 grand daughters! Love it!
I love you, Jenny!!!!
So beautiful and so simple! I just love it! Thanks a lot! 🌸🌸
Love this! Thank you Jenny😊
Thank you Jenny!!! Just what I needed! I've been looking for a design I wanted to do and you nailed it!! Love everything you do!! Can't wait to visit Missouri Star Quilt company one day.
it is very cute! Sure wish I would have thought of that before I did my daughter's Christmas quilt. (I did the Diamond rail fence for her) Would also work with scraps I would imagine! Let your imagination roam with the possibilities of this one! Thanks again for another easy idea! :)
Looks super ez and fun!! Love it!
I'm like Jenny, I love love blue and white.
I love this simple quilt, sometimes simple is the best idea.
Awesome!!! Thanks Jenny!!
Thank you. I really love this one. And you make it 😊so easy and clearly explained. I’ll make mine red and white, though the blue and white is very peaceful..
Dios la siga bendiciendo a Usted y a su Familia. Gracias por compartir cosas tan bonitas. Saludos
Love it. Blue and white is so nice!
❤️ great info on blocks and sash assembling!
Hello Jenny Wish you and the whole of MSQC family A Merry Christmas. I am training a batch of ladies how to make quilt blocks. And I think this is a suppperr easy block for a beginner's team like ours. I call myself a seasonal quilter as I hardly have sewn 10 quilts in the last 5 to 6 years since i started. It was a difficult journey for me but trying it make it a better one ( if not easy) for the ladies from the community who come from a very under privileged background. Thanks to you and your team for making such beautiful tutorials💗
Simple, beautiful and blue. Love it and if you use a layer cake, you only need one. Awesome

LOVE the quilting!!! Great quilt, too!
So cute. And since i LOVE blue it is right up my alley. Bonus i just got a brand new Baby Lock Amanda machine and it sews so beautifully. Worth every penny. I am happy to sew again after struggling for several years with a cheap machine.

Love this pattern!
So easy. I love it.
Love it. Will put on my to-do-list. Thx.
thank you so much for an easier quilt love those, and would be pretty with seasonal fabric and it's always hard to find ideas for masculine quilts would be great in darker colors and plaids.
Love simple!
You have done if again! Thank you for helping us with an amazingly/
I made a quilt like this using the nine patch block, cut into quarters. After assembling, I just had to add sashing with small squares to two of the sides edge of the quilt.
I've been watching you for a few years and have learned a lot. However, I just watched this same quilt being done by the Gormet Quilter and I must say she makes it look a lot easier. She eliminates the need for the long strip that makes for a lot of seam matching which for me is a pain. :-)
Realmente, parece super simples de executar e, muito bonito. Obrigada Jenny.

I love this pattern as I'm using vintage style and some modern style fabrics from MSQ. I have fabric cutter that cuts my fabric perfectly. Everyone here in Israel are amazed at my fabric collection and where did I get them I tell the MSQ of course!
Thanks Jenny, I love simple quilts like this. I made something similar from Jenny's Craftsy class, Quilting quickly. A couple of ideas/suggestions. - This works also with solid center and jelly roll for sides; just a different look. - Also I've made a similar quilt from this pattern and learned from Fons & Porter site to add sashing row to top of block. It's easier and less matching to get rows together.

Love Jenny, wish she lived next door to me. She and the hubs deserve so much credit for creating a wonderful family. Bless them all, and keep those tutorial videos coming. Better than any soap opera that I watched in my younger days!
I made this last week and it's the most gorgeous thing - I did five charms across by six down for a lovely cot sized quilt. The only problem is on washing, the charm squares have shrunk a lot more than the white strips I used, so there's quite a bit of puckering along the white bits. Let's hope the quilting process will hide some of that!
That would make a very nice table runner too!

I can see this also done as a mini quilt as well. Use black as your sashing, and you will have an Amish looking quilt.
