Or you could spray the paint under the plate and the metal ribbon separately, before putting it together.

Gorgeous! The trim takes these over the top! Wondering if adding a bit of caulk around the area where to two candle holders meet, then paint, would create a more cohesive look, otherwise, you can tell where these areas where glued together??? Still beautiful though ...

Hand or spray painting is great! I prefer spray because I get a more even coat. Alway use a paint compatible with glass and let it completely cure before using. (curing can take several more days after it "dries")

@@jamiejones426 chalk paint is great for glass too! I like to seal my chalk painted glass with matte Mod Podge.

Pretty. But a warning...the metal tape is VERY sharp. Not sure how that can be avoided. I would love to know a remedy to this as I love the look

Yes, most metal crafting items are sharp or have burrs.. please be careful.

How long did they last? I just wonder that sometimes. How long until you replace it with something else you made? I would buy something for the $20 that I would use for a year or two

@SheSoCraftDee……Help!!! I have used E6000 glue to attach 2 glass candle sticks to the bottom of 2 glass vases and 1 glass bowl. ALL of them have come apart. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I’ve done hot glue and that doesn’t stay either. I love these decorated tray stands and would love to make them but I’m afraid the candle stick will come off. Does anyone have suggestions on how to glue these together so they stay together??? Any suggestion is appreciated. 👍🏻😉🥰🙏

With E6000, it takes several days to cure. It will dry in a few hours, but you must let it cure several days before normal handling.
