Thanks for the latest tutorial video. Can I ask you to make another tutorial vi and to show how do you make that-ie how do you edit, add music, how many cameras you are using ( not how to take a picture which you already showed) and how long that it take you?does some one help you editing or it’s all a solo presses ?

It is a great size. I just looked up the measurements and it says it's 4.75"X4.5". 🤗

Hello Kathleen, love the way that arrangement turned out, very pretty. I always loved that when I ordered flowers for my grandma the florist would send me a picture when I got notification because my grandma wasn’t tech savvy to send photos via a cell phone. Your organization skills are top notch and your content is very informative. Noticed the unfinished walls as your backdrop - hopefully something exciting happening at your shop? My question from the video is how do you decide what you are putting in an arrangement? When I order flowers, I usually call the florist and say I need an arrangement for my grandmother’s birthday, for example, and she likes blue, pink and purple flowers. My budget is $100, can you make up something nice, but nothing dyed and no carnations, and then leave them to it. So how would you decide what your recipe is?

I LOVE this question - for me, the first question to answer is 'What inventory do I need to move out first?' So I always start there because we work on 'First in, first out' inventory management system. Then I plug in the ingredients following a little formula. It's usually two focal flowers, 3-4 fillers and 1-2 foliages. 😘

@@LittleBirdBloom I had my first setback this week with a wholesale nursery. I know this won’t be my last, but my first major “discouragement” and “huh, well ok then” moment happened. So when I decided to start this flower farming venture, I have been sorting all the admin tasks first - form the LLC, figure out insurance, get my bookkeeping set, logo, name, website, etc. all before I have even thrown a seed into the ground (hopefully I can grow flowers LOL J/K). So I started on field layout, irrigation and looking over my list of what I am going to try growing. I have my annuals list and seeds set for winter sowing already, except Lisianthus, which I am going to start with plugs and grow under glass (no greenhouse yet) the following year. Spring 2024 is a test run, and I don’t expect to sell or make any $$. My thought was that event florists seem to need a TON of foliage, and some farmers seem to complain they don’t have the room for flowers and for foliage - well I got plenty of room. So, I thought these need to get into the ground now since they take several years to reach full production and perfect planting time here for shrubs and trees is October/November and I started shopping. I emailed a wholesale nursery (sells flowering shrubs, flowering trees etc., many species that were on my list) to request to open an account, get on their mailing list, etc. and in the notes section I put that I was starting a cut flower farming business and looking to purchase flowering trees and shrubs that I could use as foliage and woody perennials for arrangements. I was rejected by email saying they don’t sell what I would probably be looking for. So I called them saying I didn’t understand because their website showed availability of exactly what I was looking for and I am qualified to buy wholesale and would like to set up an account. I was told they would have a rep contact me, which he did and proceeded to tell me that they don’t carry what I would need. They didn’t even know what I specifically wanted and didn’t ask me before saying nope don’t have what you want. Not sold out but just flat out don’t carry it ever. When I asked about specific items I was then told they deal in landscaping company size orders. I told them I was looking to plant trees (ex. crabapple and dogwood) and shrubs (ex. viburnum, spirea, forsythia) for a 5-acre space with another 30 acres to place into production over the next 5 years. I am so confused and not sure what I did wrong, but I have never ever had to work that hard to spend my money with a business. I had such a hard time staying polite, but in the end, they did not want my business and I am not going to chase them, but damn. Sorry for the long ramble, but I really needed to vent to someone out there who might understand it or have some advice. And before anyone suggests this, I have a very professional day job and deal with board members and shareholders etc. so I do know how to handle myself professionally in person and on the phone. I just really am at a loss as to why it happened.
