Just a little side note to add to this, grab the end of mechanical pencil (something thin) and push the piece of cotton into the pen. Makes the cotton stay on the pen while making the stylus making process a whole lot easier.

tip to make a good stylus: you’ll need - a pencil - a scissor -your hand (or whatever parts that has skin) -tape or glue do as you like cut a piece of skin, put it on the pencil lead, glue/tape it, and you done. don’t thank me it’s nothing.

this actually works lmao, theres a lot of videos saying like "you need a unicorn tear, a gold pen with diamonds in it, a cotton made of jesus hair" but this only needs cotton lmao

I actually tried this like a year ago and although the overall concept of it works it can be a bit fiddly with the cotton but it's a good idea for like a temporary makeshift stylus.

This is honestly the best fit stylus I've ever tried. (I've tried a lot).

It works! This is probably my first time working with electrical currents. I must agree that finding a metallic pen is the hardest part of this project. I found a metallic pen but it has a plastic grip, so when I write I have to grip the tip and it makes it awkward and difficult to write with. The search continues (?)

just added copper wire to the pen and it works like a charm on my phone! I also am using arm warmers to make up for the lack of palm resistance on the phone, and it works nicely. Pen doesn't work so well on my surface book though.

All you really need is some tinfoil and a pen. Get a pen and at the end of the pen wrap sometinfoil around it. Or instead of wrapping it from the back. Take out the ink and put the tinfoil there instead! Hope I helped!!

Now hear this, go and check ibis paint x KZread channel and they have created a realy good stylus

It works rly well btw if ur wondering but u can use aluminum foil if u don't have metal pen and u need to make sure the corrons wer but not too much

I would love to say it worked... but it didn’t :( I got a metallic pen, I stuffed cotton in the tip, and it didn’t work. I even added some water to the tip as some other tutorials say, but it just didn’t work. Now I have to waste some of my foil ;-;

Didn't have a metal pen. So i used an screw with cotton on the tip and wet with saliva. Worked like a charm.

Definitely works. I just tried it. I have a mostly wooden pen, but has a metal tip. I did what the video showed, and nothing happened. Then I read the comments. And tried dampening the tip, and it WORKS! Only downside, I will have to continue to dampen the tip when it dries out.

I'm so happy right now cos I have this same exact pen 🤩

+Sans The Skeleton Yes, U can use tin foil and aluminium foil!You won't need water if u cover the pen with tin foil.But if possible try to use a pen with metallic body and insert cotton in the tip without wetting it. (Tin foil or Al foil may cause scratch).I'll try to post a short video on making a stylus using tin foil
