Another diy attachment for a dremel rotary tool. I used a standard hand-cranked barbecue blower to start building this. Also because i wanted it to be quite powerful, i've changed the stock blower fan, with a larger one from an angle grinder. I made this because some times, when my projects include some kind of woodworking, my bench gets filled with chips which can now be blown with this dremel attachment. Basically all my projects produce dirt on my bench which i always want to get rid of.

If my old shop teacher saw the way that he is using that drill press, he'd have a stroke
Brilliant. I do these kinds of builds often, and I totally respect your ingenuity and craftsmanship. It's a useful and convenient blower. Thanks for posting, and I loved the fast forward bits. lol
I like your creative use of the drill press.

its a vertical lathe now
You're a monster. Dremel should hire you. The only bad thing in that is that your products will be 10000% much more expensive
I like this guy, makeshift tools. Using whatever you have to make more.
will this fit on my honda?

This is awesome. I'll be using mine primarily for liquids and thus, will make some modifications but I already see to the right, several related videos that will be undoubtedly helpful. Thanks for putting these up.
You are an amazing guy! And you even invented a new dremel attachment right in front of us. Very cool! Greetings from Arizona.
Congratulations for this work, it's amazing his ability to transform materials into something different and much more efficient. I also liked that his walrus, very precise and practical. What is the engine power of your power drill? Leandro Wagner.

That's Genius! I was thinking of buying a "DataVac" so I could stop purchasing canned air to clean-out computers and other various things but this will save me up to $80! If a Dremel can handle the stress of the fan why on earth have they not made something like this already! I'd have bought it instantly. Thank you so much for sharing johnnyq90, instructional and constructive videos like this are why I love KZread...

That was fun to watch. I like that you used recycled parts to make it. Plus you made it with simple tools. That would be a great attachment for cleaning out the dust in desktop computers. Great job.
100% admiration for you Johnny! I love doing stuff like this. Two Thumbs Up :)

Judging by all the additional tooling and effort required for this particular conversion, methinks most satisfaction was engendered in the design, logistics and building of the device...! But that's partly what Dremelling is all about...! And Yes, I have added the word "Dremelling" to my dictionary...
I like this very much: The idea, the approach, the chosen/reused materials, the steps illustrated, and the product certainly :). It was very entertaining.
That is too cool-you are very talented and smart! Can't wait to see the rest.
I need this now lol. I'm gonna have to search for one of these barbecue blowers right away!
That looks wicked for mini-forge work
Impressive, what a creative person.
Chaval eres un fenomeno mecanizando. Me tiro horas viendo tus creaciones. Enhorabuena!!!
what a creative guy.
Very well done, sir.
Thanks for the video! A lot of good ideas going on there.
Good idea, thank you Johnnyq90

I came here expecting some cast aluminum project with lathe and milling operations. I was so wrong. Silver spray paint. Also, I like your attack chicken in the background, clucking at the evildoers outside.

can someone please send this guy back to school.
Very creative! I bet when you were a kid you took apart everything...working or not. I also bet you see a potential project in things most people get rid of and will scavenge the parts. Hope to see you on Shark Tank!
good job!!!
I guess the Most expensive part in this build was the Painting ? Like it :)

Nice project... Now you just need to fit the input end to a piece of pipe, cut a slot for the exhaust, add a mini cyclone and hose and you have the worlds smallest cyclone dust collector... Well done... Seriously though, it would not take much to do as far as the mini cyclone goes....

+Paul Bialozor I know, but for this i prefer a brushless motor and not a dremel since it has brushes which will wear out i guess...

Parkside tools, awesome to work with. :-)

You have lot of imagination. Like Mr. Burn would say: excelente
Freaking Awesome!
that would beat the hell out of draging my pc to my work shed

i loved the mini jet engine vids you should produce and sell those on a website like mini jet cat usa or set up a website with weebly or some other free website service all the stuff you make is boss and people would buy it
Your dogs barking sounded funny
Un fucking believable. your a genius engineer. your a dremel god.

cool!
This is awesome! you better get a patent on this and sell it to Dremel or make them yourself and sell them to Dremel owners. I would buy one in a heartbeat!! I would try to make one myself if you had some kind of material list.
You brought me just a nice idea for making that sanding tool your using on your drill. Again a nice project, and well executed. The neat of the hole thing is your using a bare min on tools and make it work your way. B.D.W did you putt it in the water? , (it's a good model for a pump)
不错学习了!
I watched the ad in your video. That's the only payment you'll get from me.
Very impressive skills you have and you are very resourceful. Enjoyed your videos! Have you patented this or is it not patentable?
bravo top 👍👍👍
Hey, thanks for the tutorial, I find it useful and I'll try to do one for myself. maybe I'll modify some things like it won't use a dremel but instead a brush less motor for lower power so I can use a battery and use it as a portable fire starter. thanks for the kick off ideas, most of the KZread videos are crap cheapo shit
you should try with the dremel 4000...

Time to scare the cat!
Looks nice and all, but you have spent a lot of time and effort to make something that just moves the mess around. It would have been a lot easier to use a vacuum cleaner. it will pick up the mess for you.
because you don't need a lathe to build cool shit, well done!
Everyone on Dremel's project team was fired the same day this was posted
make dremel noise enhancer. like a trumpet at the end
Oh no, all the guys with their "Built Civics" are gonna use this for a Turbo Charger now.
bravo ai inventato il phon..!

Now this is cool. I was think that maybe you could use a bent pipe in an "L" shape so you don't have to hold it sideways, then you could just point it straight.

Your use of sped-up video and regular speed video in the same clip reminds me of HowToBasic and it had me expecting you to smash something the entire time.
عالی بود مرسی
if you slow the speed down when his dog is barking it sounds quite funny.
How do you go about designing a compressor wheel? I’m interested in the process and can’t really find any good resources. I’m mostly concerned with efficiencies of the resultant wheel.
