    Now this is how a REAL terrarium should look. Looks like nature. Even when the mushrooms are gone it will still be beautiful.

    This is gorgeous! I had the idea to start a small urban mushroom farm with a little storefront to sell the product directly,and make SOMETHING like this in the front windows. With Oysters, Maitakes, Lions Mane, hell, even the glow in the dark fungi, if i could get them to grow. Basically a living menu of what i had going on in the back at that moment. Maybe even a few little critters in it, such as dart frogs and tree frogs. Would be a lot of work, but i could see people stopping to check out the windows, and then coming inside for some supper ingredients!

    What do you use at the end to spray the mushrooms? I’m assuming it’s just water, but how are you heating it? I don’t see a heating element in the video

    i know if u grow the mishroom in a log (it takes 1 to 1.5 year for the mysilium to fully grow), then for sure they come back for more then 4 to 5 years multiple times a year depending on the mushrooms (some fruit 1 or 2 times a year and some shrooms fruit more times... your questions is very intersting cause it would be amazing if it will keep growing like this aswell for a long time but it seems that u can have some flushes like 3 or 4 time. that shoulld be possible but not for years from what o know

    @@solverdonk7596 totally wrong. Go look at how to grow mycelium in cardboard or woodchipp then throw your log In there until it's covered and put into fruiting conditions. Easy to grow from many mushrooms from the store

    Hi! The video is absolutely stunning. One question though. Can you still use the mushroom cake after you take a portion out like you've done in the video? I am wondering if you can replace the wilted mushroom using the cake you've already took a portion out of. Can you prevent the rest from maturing in the meantime? I would love to try it out but it seems to add up quite a bit if I have to buy new cake every few weeks haha.

    Species that have been successful so far are Flammulina velutipes, Pholiota adiposa, Pholiota microspora and Pleurotus ostreatus. Mushrooms grow big without light, but they grow thin. It looks very bad.

    how long do the mushrooms last? once they die does the mycelium stay alive?

  • @nguyennuskrad6697

    @nguyennuskrad6697

    If lucky some of the spore will end up elsewhere within the terrarium and hopefully carry on. For the mycelium once it has completely use up the decaying matter within the tube it prob gonna die. ( maybe if he did now put it in the tube, it will carry on and brand out, Ps: i do to have a terrarium with mushroom. :)

    Not in this type of system. If instead of a jar, you let the mycelium grow all over the system, it would continue flowering, but not necessarily in the same spots. This would also destroy your scape, because most fungi are decomposers. It could also take years for the mycelium to establish enough for many mushrooms.
