+girlzeyeview I completely agree with you! My family had to listen to me raving about Masataka Kubota's acting after every episode. His emotions were incredible and one of the reasons why I loved this version so much (I was more than a little disappointed by Light's actor in the movies). There were points when he had me in tears. Not to mention his stunning portrayal of the insanity. I also agree about his attractiveness increasing as his confidence did. In the first episode I didn't think he was that good looking, especially compared to Kento Yamazaki. But by the end of the show he was as gorgeous as he is in the manga.

I agree with y'all.KentoYamazaki is one of my favorite actors and he's so good looking but Mataka kubota's acting was beyond my expectations! He really did an Amazing job!

On the one hand, I hate this version of L because it strays a good bit from the original. They made him "cool", which is just not L and feels like they're pandering to fangirls. On the other hand, I'm not made of stone.

When i first saw this, it was right after i finished the last ep of the drama, and i just wanted to see some music videos of the main characters. I thought this was fun, but that was it After going back and watching it a couple of more times, i can honestly say i love, love, LOVE this song + scene pairing! Good job!

the song sounds so much better than the drama and it only took me watching cool version L to realise that. quite disappointed they characterised L as a pretty face just because it's yamazaki kento, though i feel he actually has the potential and ability to act as the original L
