Make a leather cape with a fur mane!- Cursed Druid Build

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Today we make a fur and leather cape for our cursed druid build. You all know I love me some leather! This is the first time I have made a garment like this out of leather though and I am over the moon with how it came out.

As a person who’s been trained how to sew somewhat professional, me watching you doing what you doing always brings so much admiration. How talented and resourceful you are!! I want to be you! P.S. don’t know if you need this, but latex glue is amazing thing for working with leather. It holds your seams, darts, in case you don’t want it anymore doesn’t leave any marks at all, and one small bottle will last for ever. Awesome job!

Add some neodymium magnets to the ends of the horns on your collar. Even if you have to drill the horns out a little. The magnets will keep the ends together better than just the thong. The magnets are available in many sizes. Be very sure of your polarity when gluing them in.

When sewing that leather, if you pick up a walking foot, it should help move the leather through the machine easier, and help you get stitches that are a bit more even. It's like another pair of feed dogs to help feed the fabric (or leather) through the machine.
